Hey Talia! loved this video, very informative. Just wanted to confirm if I have understood this correctly? So, we first start with asking the questions based on the four goals and the four other pointers you mentioned (functionality, content, design and layout and conversation point) Then we put it down onto the spreadsheet and write down next to it the relevant heuristic issue? Is this the correct method to conduct a successful and valuable heuristic evaluation?
Create a Heuristic evaluation for Any university website site. At the end of your evaluation produce a detailed report. Your report should include the following: 1. Visibility of system status 2. User control 3. Consistency, standard and evaluation 4. Flexibility and efficiency of use 5. Aesthetic and minimalist design Your report should also have a severity ratings: Critical High Medium Low
If I do a usability evaluation using a combination of two evaluation methods, namely Heuristic Evaluation and Cognitive Walkthrough, how do I get the conclusions and recommendations? Should a qualitative analysis be carried out using thematic analysis? Thank You
Who knows if Talia sees this comment 3yr after publishing.. may I ask a related but indirect question. Does it make sense that 1 UX/UI TEAM looks after 4 different brands in the same company (so we're in design phase for our own sites and not a consulting agency) I look at the principles and I struggle to see how they can be satisfied in implementation if it's one team doing all the work. 🥴 What's your view folks?
