Good instructional video. Older Ecobubble, pausing through any wash. Motor test 3E, calibration fixed. Recycling pump had elastic band wrapped around it (gentle hum on test). Stripped pump down, cleaned then satisfying gurgle from pump. Thank you.
Excellent mate you got this! Since we work very hard in our warehouse making free video guides, you can always donate us via www.how-to-repair.com/help/buy-paul-a-beer/ Could you also do me a favour and take part in a poll I've made about the lifespan of appliances? You just need to tick one of two boxes. It will only take about 10 seconds. This might help us improve how machines are made in the future😇 Here's the poll question: www.youtube.com/@How-to-repair/community Also sharing will get more people to participate and we will have a greater impact with the manufacturers thank you for helping.
Brilliant. Well thanks to you I have fixed my Samsung washing machine for nothing and calibrated it. It is now running like new. I have also scored major brownie points with my wife because we didn’t have to shell out on a new washing machine 👍🏻🤣
Fantastic! keep here happy Thank you for leaving a comment this is for you ru-vid.come432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's is what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
Thanks for this. I think 'CL6' is CLb actually for calibration. Sadly, this hasn't worked on mine. The metal tub still wanders by about 15 millimetres, maybe more. It has shredded the rubber on the inside due to the excessive movement during the spin, and it really shakes and knocks. I have to stop it before the final spin.
Way to go on a side by side comparison for both machines for calibration. These machines always bite me because the displays are slightly different, and it's just enough to make them different for calibration or other diagnostic features.
I believe LG do have calibration mode but I have not done the video yet Glad it was helpful! Thank you for leaving a comment this is for you ru-vid.come432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's is what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍

What do I do when the screen shows a number after the calibration? My washer is a Midea washer.. The calibration stops at number 139... Any advice? The manual says it should show clear screen [- - - -] at the end of the calibration, which is not the case. Thanks.

Thank you for your videos! I've had my Samsung WW80J5555FX washing machine for almost four years now, and it's been a reliable workhorse until recently. Unfortunately, it has stopped spinning altogether. I've tried calibrating the machine, but nothing happens, and there's no sound coming from the engine. I'm wondering if the issue could be with the motherboard or the engine. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with this model? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hi, please use our contact us page and make sure you fill out the request for what your problem is. I will need the full model number of the identification plate and the details of your problem so that I can provide you with useful literature. A video shoot of the problem would be perfect as well. Normally, I would get back to you within 24 hours but I am on my way back from the IFA trade show in Berlin, so it can take more time to respond. Thanks for your understanding. www.how-to-repair.com/help/contact-us/ Please remember to subscribe to our channel, as that's what keeps this channel going. Thanks, Paul 👍
GREAT video. Is there a chart somewhere that states how much water each program uses when first started (the initial fill)? I would have though it was a set amount.
Hi, thanks for posting this info. I tried this on my older style Samsung (bought in 2015) and I cannot get it into calibration mode at all. Perhaps its too old? The model number is WP1804WPC - Ecobubble 8.0kg. Any advice is truly appreciated before I call out repair people. cheers

Hi, my Samsung inverter washing machine is having a built in dryer, but when I use it today the dryer is not working, once I start the drying it is start rotating but there Is one beep without error code and after about 20 seconds the drying ends and the door lock unlock and it's not even last for 2 minutes when the drying cycle stops, and it is not even heating, is there any resetting to do to fix the problem?
Hi I'm having issues with my Samsung digital inverter washer. After 20mins of quick wash the machine stops and a 4C appears on the screen panel. What may be the issue??
Pull it out and check your water supply hose, check that your valve is fully open. Failing that, if water enters drum and you still get that error, check/ replace pressure switch and check pressure hose for damage
Great video. My eco with digital inverter has stopped activating the drainage pump. When I independently power the motor it works fine. I'm assuming it's the circuit board. Is there anything I might be missing.
SlowmoJo I would check when it's on a rinse that you have to 40 volts on the two wires going to the pump. Hi I've just bought a Samsung ecobubble WW11BBA046AW and I've done the calibration and Selected ecobubble on a cotton wash but the washing machine is filling from the top lefthand side not the bottom as described by Samsung I'm not getting the foaming bubbles for ecobubble mode and I'm using liquid in the main wash draw have you come across this problem with these Samsung washing machines many thanks 😊
This worked great on my Samsung washing machine but the only problem seems it's not "saving" the calibration and I need to run this every time I use the washing machine because if I don't then it seems to move a lot more.
That might be the memory Really glad it helped you fix your problem Thank you for leaving a comment this is for you ru-vid.come432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's is what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
When I do the Calibration, it does it's thing then goes to 4 dashes and just hangs there indefinitely. My Dryer is stacked on top and the instructions say have nothing not even a cat on top of the washer. Will having a stacked pair effect calibration? Model is wf45k6500a

samsung top loading washing machine wa70h4000 diamond drum model panel keys not working. Except on/off switch work. Rest of keys have powers led shows up when turns on. Display shows previous time on each on/off. How do I get into test mode?
Hi, mine is starting the calibration mode but not ending showing a "0". When empty it will spin normally to 1400 but when full or when washing it will not spin and all the clothes remain wet. Any ideas how to fix this? Thank you
you might have a problem with the motor Thank you for leaving a comment this is for you ru-vid.come432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's is what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
Hi, what would cause the calibration not to start? I've followed the steps and the clb comes up on the screen then sounds as if the calibration is going to start but it doesn't and goes back to club again.
Hi! I got samsung WW85K5410WW/SA washing machine. Got it since aug 2017. It suddenly stopped working. Its not taking any water in. Tried calibration but its not spinning. It drains water but thats it. Can you guide please?! thank you .
If your washing machine is not taking in any water then the first thing you need to check is the supply, then you need to make sure that you have the water solenoid is working correctly. There is videos on my channel to show you how water valves work, glad we could help you @kalindpatel this is for you ru-vid.come432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's what keeps this channel going. Calibration mode is to actually make the drum balanced with the printed circuit board by calibrating the motor to the correct RPM if you are looking for test mode this is another video I'm glad I could help you please remember to subscribe to the channel as that's what keeps us going and able to make these videos for you
This could be your carbon brushes have worn out/stuck on the motor (underneath the tub when you open the rear panel). The carbon brushes are spring loaded to rub against the spinning armiture. There is one on each side and are held in by two screws per side - think a two inch long by 10mm x 3mm content of a drawing pencil, worn at 45 degree by the armiture and you won't miss them. The above only concerns the older brush model. 👆 Also check that none of the wires on the connector attached to the side of the motor have snapped - I managed not to notice one of them had until I purchased replacement carbon brushes and was re-installing the motor to the machine, but hey, good practice anyway. I stripped away some of the wire protection, twisted and folded the wire back on itself because there really isn't much metal there, and because there is no slack to begin with on the wire, I used some spare multimeter test accessories to bodge a cable extension - a multimeter cable with a probe of a diameter that gave an interference fit into the connector, then a crocodile clip grabbing onto the folded wire at the other end. I only did this as a bodge job because I couldn't find my Dremel Versatip to sold the wire onto the connector. Anyway, whilst following another of this gentleman's video on how to run the test mode on the Samsung Ecobubble, the test would would fail with a 3E error code, which pointed in the direction of the motor. I found it funny watching a re-run of the video I made of the machine internals - you do make a video before you dismantle unfamiliar mechanical structures, yes? - after I discovered the snapped wire just to see if it had snapped whilst I was refitting the motor, but nope, there it was when I was doing my pre-disassembly and I hadn't noticed. My lack of attention cost me the price of a next day delivery carbon brush set, but as I said above, practice is always good. The key thing is my wife now has a fully functioning machine again. I'm now learning how to officially calibrate the washing machine.
I'm sorry I do not have the test procedure for this one as it is not a UK model Thank you for leaving a comment this is for you ru-vid.come432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's is what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍

Hi there. I have a WD0804W8N which is a Digital Inverter EcoBubble washer-dryer combo. By trial and error I found that I can access the diagnostics test mode by holding down the Rinse and Spin buttons (second and third buttons below the screen) while pressing the power button which are different than the buttons you showed in ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5f3SVsxy_4I.html However I could not find any button combinations that brings up the calibration mode. Is calibration not possible on my machine or is there a different procedure? Thanks.
I have a Samsung WW70J3283 Washer. My drum spun anti-clockwise only while in calibration mode just like your brush motor washer. Shouldn't it spin in both directions?

Most of these machines become so unbalanced anyway that they shake themselves to bits. I've seen it so many times. Door seals split eventually from the vibrations.
At least on US models, their spider brackets are notoriously bad. Laundry detergent will get into the metal fingers and eat away at the support, causing one to fail and shift the drum to destruction
Hi, have a Samsung ecobubble 7kg machine, model is WF0702WKE. It says in the manual to calibrate the machine and gives instructions but it doesn't seem to go into calibration mode. It just starts to perform the cotton wash cycle and displays a time if 1hr 26mins. Are you able to help please as I'm not getting anywhere with Samsung customer service unfortunately. Got our machine in 2010/2011, worked fine until very recently where its started leaving a white residue on clothes making them dull and makes black clothes look awful! Please help. At my wits end 😂.
you may have a problem with the circuit board it's well worth having this checked Glad it helped you please remember to subscribe as that's what's keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
