The small bottles of floetrol that you included in the wind chime kit, do you sell the bottles seporately? I'm just starting out & and I don't really need a large bottle. And I too love your tutorials.

Hi Brenda! I included a varnish in the kits, not floetrol. They do sell smaller bottles at home depot and other hardware store for under $10. I don't sell the floetrol though, so sorry. Thank you for watching!! ❤️❤️❤️

I can’t get my paint to pull,l get a lot of paint on my stylist but I don’t see the point of that because all I’m using is the very tip of stylist,so doesn’t matter how much is all up the sides of my tool due to its not touching the paper 🙃😕getting very frustrated,and I want to due this,maybe not the right paint consistency?help please 🧐🫧

Oh dear, definitely do not get frustrated. If it's becoming a bit of anxiety due to the frustration I'd take a step back from it and learn the basics by getting your dots down first, then graduate to swooshes. If you are adamant about getting swooshes down, I would suggest using a large dotting tool,(what tools are you using right now?) I can recall you saying you were using Apple barrel in another comment. Put enough paint in a tray or a paint pot so that your entire tip of your dotting rod can get saturated in the paint. You'll see like a bubble form at the base of the dotting tool when you pull it out of the paint. Then you want to gently kiss the surface paper with that tool. You don't want to slam it down hard. The way I can describe it is using the tool as an eye dropper. Once you have a nice bubble down on your paper, You can use a thinner, smaller stylus or dotting tool to pull the paint so that it goes out into this arrow shape, which is our swoosh. If you have puffy paint laying around the kind you use for fabrics that sometimes helps too by squeezing a dot out from the paint bottle and then pulling that paint with your thin stylus tool. Don't ever feel overwhelmed and definitely don't overthink the craft. This should be enjoyable and it takes lots of practice to get good at a craft no matter what it is. Have confidence that you can do it!! ☺️ I've been painting for many, many many years. I started out not so great either. Remember that the consistency should be thick enough so it can cling to the tool, but not thin enough to where it's gonna run away down the page when you make a dot. Honestly just try working straight out of the bottle and do not worry about consistency..if it's apple barrel it should be ok out of the bottle. I've used that paint before.
