It's a LITTLE easier if you consider that, since it can't damage you, you can just keep jumping and stay airborne over it until you get your number. Small window, so it only helps so much, but it does help.
@@caslaBBalsac tip: Pause the game as soon as you see the dots you want to land on. Let's say I want to go forward by two, I pause the game as soon as the 2 comes into view, then resume then jump then parry. It works almost everytime for me and made the fight so much easier knowing I had easy control over the dice. Keep in mind make it a long jump after resuming not a short jump. Hope this helps
Dodging King Dice's cards was hardest for me. I liked to use the invincible super so I don't have to worry about that. You can also completely avoid parrying his cards by going to the far end of the screen. example... at 7:42 King dice puts down his left hand and cards come out. If you go to the far right of the screen before he puts down his left hand, you're completely safe. He alternates between hands, so it's mostly predictable. But sometimes he mixes it up and switches hands, and that's when I use the invincible super.
There’s a cheat to King Dice’s Fight. If you use your ex just slightly before he dances his hand and lets out his cards. He will be stuck in the glove dancing animation with no cards coming out which will allow you to beat him easily. It was the only way I was able to S Rank him.
What's really weird for me is that I accidentally S-Ranked king dice on expert mode. I used the twin hearts charm and the bosses that I chose where Tipsy Troop, Skeletal Horse and 8-Ball. I reached the main fight with 4 health left and I got hit once but I made it through and got an s rank.
This video really helped me when I first tried to A rank king dice (I was too scared to S rank him) and you really helped me memories all the mini bosses which came really in handy when I was replaying trying to get the rolling sixes achievement and did it on my 6th try replaying him getting really lucky with what mini bosses I got (I hate the godamn rabbit fight without smoke bomb and playing Mrs chalice) I actually found the final phase so much more easier thanks to the parry heart cards having larger parry areas. Mr Chimes is actually extremely easy. You can't pause when the cards are visible. So what I do is i grab my phone, take a picture and flip the cards accordingly. This way I won't get it wrong, and he won't move fast. Whenever he hits a wall, go in the direction of the wall he's about to hit, because its like a dvd logo. It bounces around like that. The worst part of this boss is his health. Probably has more health than king dice himself. But his "attacks" are very easy to avoid. Whenever he does an attack just shrink and move away to the opposite direction of him. And boom. Avoided.
The easiest king dice miniboss HAS to be pip and dot because they're attacks are so easy to dodge and the hardest is phear lap because i always forget to look down to see if theres the phantoms
I know this is old but some tips that I learn from other people (keep in mind that I haven't S Ranked Dice but still) If you die and King Dice's hand is on the left, when you get to him again see if his hand'll be on the right (same goes if it's right and like 90% of the time it'll work you can prove me wrong) Also count to 7 and went you count to seven stay behind the left or right hand (if you mess up that's fine)
I have been stuck on this nightmare for two weeks. I suck so bad at partying. So once I get to him I totally blow it. Every time I land on that annoying rabbit I want to rip my hair out. For some reason that dudes my nightmare. Probably because I suck at parrying. I have been practicing but those damn cards annihilate me. I totally agree that part of the problem is that I panic like you said.
I like to fight king dice with auto parry so I can more easily choose my bosses and parry his cards. As a result, I avoid that magic rabbit like the plague. Dashing in between the cigarettes on wheezy and staying afloat on piroletta is also not fun
Mr Chimes is definitely the worst boss in the entire game. They should patch that. Also, Ms. Chalice is OP. doing this with her is a lot easier (if you don't pick the mage boss)
Expert king dice is easy for me I do checker chip guy pip and dot and 8ball what makes it hard is timing the dice and how long it’s takes so I’ll prob never get s rank

Bro how are you not parrying the dice by ducking under it and double tapping A? I never see anybody do this except speedrunners and it's LITERALLY the best way to roll the dice. I've only ever miss rolled a handful of times in the like 20+ times i've beaten this boss. Duck under the dice and just double tap to quickly parry If you you're jumping in the air first and then parrying, you're asking to fuck up basically.
Chips Bettagan is a nightmare for me, im playing on Pc but everytime i use the Lock Key to aim diagonally... it doesnt, like, it will lock to shoot up or sideways but not diagonally, its not hard per say but its time consuming

I think it is worth mentioning that for the final King Dice phase if you don't feel comfortable with Dashing in the 5 card interval you can just Normal Jump and use an EX, that will grant you a moment suspended in the air so you can just fall and Parry the next card. (Of course I recommend not to Equip Specials for this round) And the only thing missing in this tutorial (I think) is to emphasize on "GET BETTER WITH THE DICE ROLLING" Regards!

CHIMES King dice kept on making me jump on a card and you can only dash once

Pirouletta is the hardest for me because I don't use smoke bomb,most of time I can dodge but the attack with the balls is hell for me,I need perfect timing to survive without smoke bomb

Just got to King Dice with 5 health and a full super. Still died. I was on the finish line at the end screen. Literally one more second would have killed him. Gonna go run over my PS4 now.
I told you that (dash in five card gap) in chat! I feel proud for no reason lmao :) For me, Tipsy Troop was something I can do blindfolded. I mean, literally, I did it blindfolded once just to see, it's that easy for me. The audio telegraph comes from a mile away for all the little cup-people. The hardest for me was the horse dude, like every sane person.
i always thought that pirouletta was the hardest miniboss because on my first playthrough, it seemed like the smoke bomb was completely useless, so i never really thought about it
He said that when you get to king dice and you have 3 hearts you might as well give up but when I beat him for the first time I got the rolling sixes achievement

So the setup i used was 4 heart roundabout tracker and super 1 and i went for hearts on 3 5 and 8 cause on the rabbits skull attack you can just crouch and it cant hit you
Oh and, I recommend having a Super at the beginning of Phear Lap, I haven't beaten King Dice, but on Regular it makes him so much easier, might help S-ranking too, but hey, what do I know? P.S: If you want to get a 1, parry the dice while it's still inside his hands, worked every time for me
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN for providing requirements at the beginning. I was struggling so much doing a no hit and had over a dozen tries to just get behind his arm AND YES FINALLY DID NO HIT-- A-? what. how. why. what did i do wrong. and now i learned that i don't have to make no hit which was SO MUCH RELIEVE bcs i sucked at the card attack. but i did it!! S rank now and no hit then, so i'm still satisfied with the result
For Hopus Pocus if you have a smart brain and is a master at cuphead, you could easily destroy this son of a hocus pocus, but for me, I got smoke bomb but If I didn't had smoke bomb and tried to do this without smoke bomb, I would be god dang turned into dust, USE SMOKE BOMB IT'S YOUR ONLY CHANCE, THIS IDIOT WILL FREAKING DISINTEGRATE YOUR DAY
If you're like me and you cannot parry off the cards to save your life, you can hide behind his hand if you stay to the far left or right of the screen. Sometimes it's 50/50 whether he alternates sides, but it usually works. To speed things up, I also usually don't use my super on the last miniboss so I can save it for him.
I don't touch 1, 2 and 3 are fine whichever has the extra live, 4 is ok not preferred and 5 is fine 6 is a no go cuz the gotdam trees, 7 and 8 are good and u know u never hit 9. I still can't beat the final faze I suck at parrying
I finally did it S rank. I just had to master everything. Like literally everything. Getting the right pip on the dice. Defeating mini bosses quickly and mastering the last part. It also took my sanity
Well guess what: The Mr Chimes bug isn't working anymore. The developpers said: Oh Mr Chimes can be glitched? Well we'll patch this glitch and correct it so it never happens again
Tipsy troop and Mr. Wheezy are the bane of my existence lmao. Pip and dot are the easiest to me tho and I weirdly like them more than the other mini bosses
Here,s my opinion on each mini boss Tipsy troop= Not too bad the only annoying part is Rum guy Chips bettigan = He is so goddam hard he is the 2nd hardest miniboss for me. Mr wheezy takes a while if you don,t have Roundabout but still easy peasy Pip and Dot= Just jump over the spikes on the ground Hocu Pocus= SO HARD WITHOUT SMOKE BOMB but with smoke bomb so much easier. Phear Lap= just a lot of foreground objects that annoy me into hitting a ghost horse pirouletta= Hardest boss without Smoke bomb but such a joke when you have Smoke bomb Mangosteen= Do i even need say anything other than EASIEST MINIBOSS OH YEAH! Mr Chimes= SCREW MR CHIMES SCREW HIS MEMORY SCREW THE MONKEY HARDEST MINIBOSS HANDS DOWN
