In this video, Kev goes over everything you need to know about using the Method 2 saddle. How to be setup, how to be compact, and how to maximize comfort. www.latitudeoutdoors.com/collections/shop
i love it. one concern that just came to mind are the magnets. So there are some snowmobile jackets that started using magnets, however, they are actually outlawed in certain locations because it affects GPS if someone is using one or needs to be found. Just something to keep in mind as i use a GPS for all my hunts. I use the classic latitude and love it.
Missed you guys at Gaylord Jays last Sunday! I was bummed out but I did pick up a new Method 2 saddle and love it! upgraded from my old 'Arrow Hunter' saddle.
Wish the saddle came with instructions, thought this video would solve that. Just finished the video and still don’t know how to work this thing. Took ur time explaining how magnets work but not explaining how to properly set up the tether. Thanks, Can’t wait to fall out the tree but at least I know how to connect the magnets.
Love my method, however, the only thing I disliked about it was the clips - trying to reconnect the bottom net to the top, esp with the pouches getting in the way … I badly want this! Thanks for making great products for us!!!
I’m looking to buy a saddle, close to 50 and hunted like most out of climbers and lock ons over the years. I’ve looked at every brand and I like the latitude best. I do worry that there isn’t enough fabric for the bottom piece that cups your butt area. It looks like it could use a bigger bottom part. So not sure if I’ll end up buy your brand or not. Is that a problem or am I overthinking it? Jonathan
I’ve emailed the company here recently about how to re-tie the knots, that are used. Pretty upset that there’s no instructions that show you how to tie the knots. Say they come undone in field, or your kids happen to do it?
See you guys don’t understand we never did this at all and trying to learn. Is the tether just a rope with a loop On the end and you run it through it, I don’t see how that doesn’t slip down the tree like when you take pressure off it
My buddy gave me this list: I'm running the latitude method 2 with Eastern Woods Outdoors ultimate one stick with angled platform and sewn in two step aider madrock safeguard rappel device. They're hard to find sometimes though. 40 foot of canyon civ 9mm rope.
Man, after buying a different saddle with 40 years of hunting development, I really wish I would have bought the method 2. I plan to sell the other saddle and buy the latitude, which is what I should have done from the beginning.
How do you attach the tether. Im not sure how the plastic "D Loops" attach. I tried to zoom in on the video to see how you had it. What is its purpose?
If i already have my ropes from an old saddle. Do i need to use yalls that are prusiks because I like the climbing tiny metals things but dont know if i can go from mine to yalls
@@andrewholmes4381 Shoot us an email when you get a chance and we can discuss. explore@latitudeoutdoors.com. If you can send some pictures of your ropes too that will help us understand what you're working with. Thanks again for reaching out!
Hello I just bought my first saddle the method 2 XL fits great only problem so far is the bridgeknot is very hard to tighten or loosen any tips or ideas why it might be like that?
I'm just going to assume you've set everything up because you know how to do that even though you're watching a how to video. Wish I watched this before buying $40 worth of rope for $400
