I've met an online friend a couple years ago, she brought a friend from home when we met. I never got the typical college experience due to covid so online friends were all i had. If meeting online friends at any age, go with someone (friend, partner, sibling, etc). Even as an adult.
Tips on avoiding predators : if they start being horny (referring to sex) as soon as you start to talk with him/her. Block them because 9 out of 10 times they are predators . I know this from the hours of watching predator troll videos

It's kind of embarrassing that I'm looking this up- but ever since I started online school and covid-19 was release and we all were in quarantine, I felt lonely and like I was friendless- I want to make a best friend or a soulmate! Also soulmates aren't romantic but they can just be another version of a bestfriend! I really want to make a friend in my age range who have the same interests but also different interests that you can talk you and express your emotions too that they won't get mad or annoyed! I just need a friend universe, why can't I get one-

Well,I have to say that some people don't realize that they need to keep their info safe.I mean,it's too easy for some people to trust their online friends and just tell them something personal.I think this kind of action is not safe.For me,I'd like to make online friends,and I also like to share something really funny or sad with them.But if they ask me my name,my phone number even my home address,I'll feel uncomfortable and just refuse to answer🤨.BTW,if somebody wants to ask a photo of me,should I give it to them?🤔
