How to sanitise a reverse osmosis system with a tank 

Isn't it easier and cheaper to just add the Sanitizer to the 1st bowl/ Filter?

did you use chlorine based sanitization?

Thanks for posting. I believe you forget to mention around 6min mark that you shut the tank off again.

An important step when the RO tank is empty, is to check the air pressure in the tank (the bottom half of tank is air/ top half is water). It needs to be 7psi. The air pressure is needed to push the water out of the tank and keep the water circulating correctly.

I’d add that thing directly to the line going to the tank instead

Does the drain hose need a shut off valve? I saw that it was required in another video.

That`s a good technique! Can you tell, whether the tank can be cleaned separately from the system, please? I can`t understand how to clean with this technology systems with a "quick change" filters. They have no housing for filters. They are assembled together and replaced as a set... There is no option to leave empty housings :) All the connectors can be washed separately, but the tank is a dilemma what to do with in this case...

Want to now days Lg shows in Ads they sanitizers with a machine they do at coustmer home but they never in 5 year to sister house in India do you what is that machine and how it’s works

Very nice complete explained issue my tank I had replace three time in 5 years bladder failed water pressure down water comes from the air inlet value from one month now as on april 2021 I m not using tank and installing my own make tank with pressure through good grade 5volt pump and some alterations in simple water tank that should give pressure to my bathroom washbasin tab and in fridge and in kitchen wasted money on this tanks as an technical profession I will do it and cleaning issue will be also solve for tank output pressure 1motor pump 5volt 1 sensor for overflow and 1 high pressure switch for on and off I did workout I think will be success if u had any other idea to make own pressure without bladder with electronic pls let me know thankyou from INDIA bombay City 14april 2021 with new day of lockdown started 😊
