I never mastered the saucer pass when I played as a kid. Now that I'm an adult and getting back into hockey I want to master the saucer pass and this video was a very effective and simple way to follow how to make effective use of practice time. Thanks for posting!

I use to use these alot playing hockey. It's great you fake the golie like you're going to do a slap shot, stop short then roll wrist slightly. Then the puck will go air born an in the left or right hand corner. I've been practicing these shooting at my chain link fence

I you should add that after you learn the sauce you should start to practice do so from harder angles and positions. If you want to aim high you ideally want to be able to sauce from behind you and far front you also if needed. Just stuck on my head from beginnig of the video. Good stuff overal. I really enjoy and think your work is high quality.

Usually my saucer pass lands better (flat) on my back hand. Been struggling to make it land flat on for my forehand.

Great video. I'm still struggling a bit though. My issue is that the puck seems to lift off the ice like a plane launches at take off. It goes air born at almost a 35 to 45° angle. I tried pulling my hands across my body. I also made sure to open the blade up and contact the puck from heel to toe...but I'm still getting that awkward launch. Once in a while it happens correctly, so I know I'm doing something wrong. Any help here is appreciated...thanks.
