Hello Potters. In this video I will be showing you how to save a pot of it has run too much. sooner or later you will come across this problem as no one is perfect and you will either have to make another one or save the pottery somehow. and this is how I personally do it.

Diamond core also has a Dremel bit. I haven’t used it, but it looks pretty dreamy. Also, I just got one of these pot savers, so thanks for showing me how to use it!

The diamand core dremmel tools are nice. they cut much better than the grindstone tool Donte was using.

I just received my Diamond Core grinding disc a week ago. I opened my kiln this morning to pots where the glaze ran onto the wheel, so thank you for this video. Off I go to my wheel to grind.

True story... I have one of these sitting in my diamond core cart and was hesitating. You've got great timing. I'm wavering between medium and coarse grade, but after watching I think I better go coarse. Mostly, I'm dealing with reglazing drips. Thanks again for the vids!

Kiln wading! 50/50 by volume of Epk Kaolin and Aluminum Hydroxide and water. Mix to clay-like consistency and make little wads. I roll it into a slab and cut little square blocks out of it. it Decreases the grinding and saves shelves because you can put catch plates under runny glaze

Thanks for grinding one out for us Dante! I bought all three Diamond Core grinding disks last year and while expensive are totally worth it.

this is some eerie timing because my diamond core grinding bat just came in the mail an hour ago! I'm hoping all of my bottoms are now blessed to be flat and smooth. Do you recommend wearing a mask when grinding down your pots?

I think you should add water to use the Diamond core to cut it. It will not make any heavy damage to the pot and also save the diamond core. Have you try it?

Correct me for wrong but I believe I did say to add water to it in the video at time 6:03 It's very common practice to add water to a grinding or a whetstone as well as the Diamond core disk.

@@EarthNationCeramics Oh! Sorry, my bad, I'm watching at the Dremel Diamond core at 11:13 Long time ago, I used Dremel diamond core bit to make a hole on a pot. I have to bring the pot into water to make the hole clean and smooth. Other wise it will break the pot.

Please mention the fact that people can make patties to place under their pots so they don’t ruin their kiln shelves. What kind of piece do you use on the Dremel to remove the glaze?

There's so many times where I want to give all the information and options to address a certain issue within a video but realistically most people don't have the attention span or they say the video is too long.

What kind of ceramic glaze do you put into the cup to make it drinkable, I figured to try this on the outside of the cup bcus of texture and want to be able to clean it easily. Thanks
