For my experience, try if traveling in the early cold morning 5-7am, off the aircond it and open roll down abit window and helps fuel consumption too 👍🏻👍🏻
Extra to add up. Install good tint. This make the cabin cool faster and can reduce workload on compressor that will drawn power/fuel when pumping AC gas. Also compressor last longer. Wether play some impact. Try drive in early morning or at evening, or after heavy downpour time, the air is denser and improve fuel economy and power too. Avoid unessary bodykit modifications. When driving on highway, can draft wind from bigger vehicle by following them at safe distance. But agree the last statement, the driver driving behavior is the biggest one. For me, I began switching to motorcycle. The jam is crazy these days.
I like how he mention fun period during the F1 times when the drivers are definitely going against fuel savings by hard acceleration and breaking but well that's motorsport. Back to fuel savings I do find many people constantly accelerate on uphill while downhill keeps on breaking it is supposed to be the opposite and let the physics and inertia do the work for you.
For my driving behaviour, In town driving especially I'm staying in Klang valley / PJ, if possible I would maintain my speed at 2000 RPM... If when reach to highway, I would maintain my speed at 3000 rpm.. Little bit about my ride... Is an old car with engine swap 1.0L EJEV Daihatsu model... Although this engine looks small in spec, however the fuel consumption are ridiculous... Early stage of having this engine was fun to drive and better performance then my previous turbocharger engine, but the fuel consumption are tremendous heavy then previous turbocharger engine 660L. So I decided to run a test at this new engine and surprisingly when I behaved to maintain rpm at 2000, seems the fuel consumption improve alot and when at slow speed, u won't even need to press your braking pedal and accelerate back to your existing speed . For long run, even ours braking system can be lasting to save more maintenance costs... Mark my words if you wanted to learn fuel saving for future fuel price increase. For city/town driving, remain 2000 rpm. For highway driving, remain 3000 rpm. Everything the experts are telling the truth (is all about yourself) how U want your ride to be drove and fuel saving 😅
well, looking it in a different perspective, we are going to subsidise the government back 4 billion ringgit which is going to go down the drain with nothing substantial offered back to the rakyat, on an added note,we can actually do something about it by either voting the opposition party or not vote at all. let the government know that this is absolutely not acceptable course of action towards the rakyat no matter how many online youtubers are trying to justify it by tip toeing around the issue for fear of being banned.
A lot. I drive a BRV. Most drivers of BRV get 11-14km/l. While me the least is 14-15km/l if on city road but 16-21km/l if on highway. Last time I balik kampung from Bangi to Kangar, no need to fuel up and still can travel back at least to Tapah. I check with my fuel apps, it was more than 1000km per full tank. That was during Raya.
Malaysians must consider the ISSUE OF FUEL SUBSIDY CRITICALLY . We should look at it as our BENEFITS FROM OUR OWN NATURAL RESOURCES , IT IS ONLY RIGHT THAT THE RAYAT SHOULD SHARE IN OUR OWN RESOURCES IN TERM OF FUEL SUBSIDY. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT CONSIDER THE SUBSIDY AS A LOSS TO THE GOVERNMENT, IT IS SOCIAL JUSTICE AND SOCIAL BENEFIT TO ITS CITIZENS . PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS ISSUE CRITICALLY IN TERMS OF INDIRECT OR DIRECT BENEFITS TO THE CITIZENS OF MALAYSIA . ❤❤❤
The QUESTION OF FUEL SUBSIDY IS A POLITICAL ISSUE . WOULD IT BE A GOOD POLITICY TO GIVE BENEFITS TO THE RAYAT FROM OUR NATIONAL RESOURCES . PETROLEUM BELONGS TO ALL MALAYSIAN CITIZENS , IT IS ONLY RIGHT AND PROPER TO SHARE NATIONAL RESORCES WITH ALL THE RAYAT . WE, MALAYSIANS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT PETROLEUM IS NOT BELONG TO ANY PARTICULAR POLITICAL PARTIES . Malaysians should benefit from National Petroleum Resources . ❤❤❤
