This what exactly my father told me to do, I'm riding fzs which gives around 50kmpl and I'm maintaining it my self. Which saved me hell lot of money. Thank you guys. 😊
Vikas rachamalla is the most honest, experienced and genuine biker And he speaks truth 100% but sadly the young boys want entertainment, lifestyle and expensive stuff. Sensibility is last on their mind bro.
I AM USING MY RTR 200, BS 4 FOR LAST 6.10 YEARS , LOCALLY IT GIVES ME AROUND 40 TO 42 KMPL AND ON OCCATIONAL TOURS IN WINTERS IT GIVES ME AROUND 52KMPL. ITS MINE MULTIPURPOSE BIKE, MENTAINENCE BY GODS GRACE IS MINIMAL, RECENTLY I WAS SHOCKED BY IT RESALE VALUE, WHICH WAS WAY BEYOND MY EXPECTATION. DIDN'T SELL. AND AFTER THIS PODCAST I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT FOR 8 YEARS MORE.
I have seen the half of the podcast and can say that this is what i discuss with my friend in regards to finance and getting your fav bike or car. I do ride my r15 v3 now for 4 years i get around 54-55kmpl on city even then im thinking of getting a ray zr for relaxation and to run errands. My wish is to get a 300cc as well but a scooter is the best vehicle you can buy in india which will serve as a step towards your dream of high performance bike. I do resonate in the same way as you said money is a mans best friend. We only have value if we have money.
I am using Platina 110. I ride it 15000 km per year. I maintain it by myself (except, chain adjustment, rear drum & brake shoe maintenance). It costs me only Rs. 1000 per year (Rs. 350 x 2L engine oil, Rs. 200 Labour, Rs. 100 Other small items used in Air Filter Wash x 20)
Absolutely Said. Saving environment is more important. By riding my Platina 110 15000 km every year, I am only using around 180-200L petrol per year. Whereas, I ride my Grand i10 NIOS around 8000 km per year, which consumes around 500L of petrol. What, if I had ridden 20000-22000 km in the same car or some high end bikes? (Around 1400-1500L)
I have a 100cc bike along with R3. idea of riding a bike is to use the top gear 80% of the time one is on the seat. I use r3 only on highways. I prefer to be in a car in case of a traffic jam. I agree everything you said about having pride or ego. Ride like rossi and live like a monk.
Absolutely Vikas bhai. I commute by city bus as it is convenient for me based on my office time which is closer to non busiest hours of the day. And I ride my rtr 160 4v on weekends. And i am completely satisfied with it. Regular maintenance is what we need to take care of which is inevitable. I don't think to prove my self s biker i need to commute in a motorcycle everyday. Most of the time we get drawn away by looking at so many launches and plan to buy a new motorcycle but its always better to explore your present motorcycle to the fullest. I am planning to keep that for more years.
The reason why I'm interested in a commuter as my 1st motorcycle is that I can save lot of money for my touring bike. I'm gonna buy a 150-160 cc bike and use it for commutes and touring for 4 years and save lot of money for my touring bike.
Sir please help me out, i own a dominar 400 , i pay around 4k for fuel for a month , i wanted to buy a new commuter with dominar which would give around 70-75kmpl , but i cant buy as I don’t have cash , so if i buy it on emi, that would be same as paying for fuel , so could you plz help me out what to do.? As dominar is old about 7 years now, it has became very high mentainance bike as sometimes clutch plates are giving up, some times fuel pump getting leak, sometimes battery going bad , recently i spent 15k on the bike, and now clutch plates have gone bad and svc guyz says another 5k for clutch plates, so what would you suggest to do?
This was something more than a Podcast, rather i'd Love to say a Guiding Light for us. Lots of love n respect for u Sir from Siliguri, West Bengal. Thanks a Lot..
Kit EV manufacturer's (assemblers) are fly by night operators who sell their scooters without any field testing done on Indian roads and as per Indian climatic conditions.
One very important lession which I learned by wasting sh*t load of money, Don't buy a bike which looks most value for money, buy a bike which keeps you satisfied, else you will just sell it and buy something else soon. But again, don't go lunatic and buy 400's etc as your daily bike
Hi vikash, I want to know your view on 10/15 year car ban in Delhi NCR. Please make a podcast. Very much needed. How gov making stupid laws to benefit auto makers and to loot people.
Same here with D400 riding daily in traffic sometimes while riding it feels too heavy. Nowadays maja nahi aaraha. Now i will use Apache200 for sometime. Love ❤ form Nepal🇳🇵 Vikas Bhai..
Especially i liked your philosophy's vikas garu 👌🏼 and one more thing.. how to maintain a motorcycle chain in a reliable way.. and make a session on clutch how to maintain clutch.. so, it can be more reliable 🙂 and thank you for giving us good knowledge about motorcycle's 👍🏼 will be waiting for your next video.
This is a reality that many do not understand. I am using a Dominar 400 only for long rides and a used 2010 Honda Shine that I purchased for 20k in 2012. It's close to a lakh km and running great with only with a sprocket set change for 1500, mineral oil and just 1 set of tyres changed for a total of 3500 and a seat cover change for 400. Great guidance. ❤
Adding to how to save money, i have a question regarding the engine oil that I am using on my 320cc bike ( YZFR3) I am using motul 7100 10w50 fully synthetic oil in my bike and i have ridden just 3500 kms in the past 16 months. Now when I look at the old manual of motul 7100 fully synthetic oil, it says that we can use it for 16000 kms. No where it mentions the timeline. For instance if I ride very less, can I use it for a little long then an year? When I check the oil in the bike, it seems perfect in colour and viscosity. Hereby i request you to let me know if I can use it till it reaches 16000 kms irrespective of the months or year it takes. I keep revving my engine on idling once every 15 days. I use my machine only for highway ride. Now 80% of the people will say an engine oil is much cheaper than the engine". sometimes mob can be right too Please guide me 🙏🏼
I have RC390 for weekend tours or mostly month end tours 😅 I also own a scooty pept. It is giving me 60kmpl. Im satisfied but Im not confident with its brakes. It cannot do panic braking even at 50 kmph. I crashed while driving my scooty on june and my ankle is still recovering. Now Im looking at kawasaki W175. It is 135 kgs only. Is it too much for commuting? Which short & light weight motorcyle you recommend?
Vikas sir, right now I own a unicorn 160 bs4, purchased in 2016. Panning to upgrade to Xpulse 200 4v. Please share me your thoughts. If possible please make a ride review of Hero Xpulse 200 4v
Bro please make a video on wheter to buy a bs3 rc 390 in 2024 or not what will be the pros and cons if we buy it now, i am too confused to buy or not, i hope you help me out...
Awesome video, need of the hour, Very Honest and Informative. Kindly do a video on E20 or flex fuel bikes coming in the future and the impact of alcohol blended fuels in non compliant bikes. Thanks for Everything.
Please I bought a new Honda sp 125 which is is one monthold now the company used honda oil but i want to change my oil use Motul for bike how should I change it? Please let me know. Engine flush is wrong right. So should I directly flush old honda oil and put motul oil?
Bro. I have duke390 2021. I am thinking about to install after market exhaust got questions need clarify. *i only go with slip on. Not full system 1-should i need to go replicas like rs 6000 or 5000. Or go for original after market exhaust rs 50000. 2- do aftermarket exhaust do harm to engine on long run. 3- do mileage decreases while using aftermarket exhaust. 4- sugest me a good aftermarket exhaust. thank you. You always give information that is facts. Very logical.
I am 26, on my 3rd motorcycle i.e Ns200. Owned Fzv3 but it felt too underpowered even for city use and so far Ns seems fine for more or less all use case. So this is going to stay for long time, and I will try not to buy a 2nd higher capacity motorcycle till i have a lot of money.
Most of the people want to buy used motor cycle but they not get good condition bike immediately,it takes to much time you need to search and you need good knowledge of bikes .most of the bikes you will search that is not well maintained and maintain bikes you will get but they sales higher price then you have option for we have to buy brand new bike.buying a 150 cc segment mostly in Yamaha or pulsar is good option with out taking financial burden.you have to lucky if you are getting good condition motorcycle in lowest cost.
I Have yamaha Saluto 125cc Along with Suzuki v Strom sx 250. Saluto 125 Bike 8 years old 2laks crossed still runs like lion 🦁😂.. weekdays use my saluto.. weekend i ride v Strom
I am thinking to a get a motorcycle above 150 CC. I am considering xpulse 200 4v . I have concerns about the hero service in Hyderabad. Is it capable of long rides or should I go with hunter 350? I have concerns about the service cost with 2 motorcycles. what are your views on it. Please share your thoughts.
I am a poor biker.. 😂 Only have 5 bikes mixed race from 100cc to 650cc whenever my pocket allowes i take them out in turns. Maintaining them in pristine condition is not that cheap.. 100cc never demands and can go through any abuse with excellent milage. 100cc commuter 125cc daily chores 350cc old school charm 452cc adventure 500cc cruiser
My daily ride is total 70km include home to office and office to home. And I m driving a 2013 hero xpro. She give milege almost 55 to 60kmpl. But i really wanted to upgrade with mt15 or r15. And i want very good mileage can these Yamaha motorcycle give me around 45 to 50kmpl if Yes than which is better for me. The reason toupgrading the new motorcycle is my old xpro ideal cruzing speed is 55-60 kmph which is very slow I want at least 80-90kmph can these Yamaha motorcycle give me milege of 45-50kmpl.
Hi. Does anyone know any good mechanic near Gachinowli, Hyderabad? I own an NS 200 and I'm having a hard time getting my issues fixed. The mechanics at Bajaj service centres work with very limited knowledge. Every time I visit one of them, I end up with frustration and disappointment, sometime with an argument. Please let me know if there's any good mechanic nearby. Thanks!
On getting a second hand bike what about the E20 fuel government are going to use in coming future these old bike will run in some problems. Very informative videos vikas Bhai 🙏
Old motorcycles are much reliable i guess literally no maintenance.... I have an rx 135... It just need gear oil change 650 ml for every 5-6000 kms... Rest it needs nothing other than 2t oil for which 1 litre of 2t oil goes 700 km straight😃
I ride a 25yrs old Baja Boxer AR which I clocked over 4lakh Kms. did two times CF and still giving over 60km/hr without engine opening. I sold my BUSA. Still have one Iron883, a Bonneville. Only Bonneville A3 I may be going to keep. Still keeping my Bs3 390.
