Boba :> I dont like boba :< Woah this is my most liked reply ty!!!! Edit 2: of course it would bring haters but I don't mind :^) Edit 3: I've been playing Mario kart too long halp meee :0
When I did this all of my cats stood up on their hind legs, recited my full name, date of birth, date of death, and chanted an ancient prayer in tounges
That's the thing. They understand you the way you taught them. It's not like learning another language, where the other person will actually thank you for it, lmao!
Yeah but like alot of people don't think this craps a joke they actually think they have cats that they understand/understands them it's really getting scary how slow the human brains becoming.
@@madeincda Yes, yes I am. I am literally just trying to be funny. I, in no uncertain terms, do not actually believe that my dumb cat understands the complexity of human language.
By the way, I also use terms that clam my kitties to let them know I’m not upset with them, and even hope they’ll come comfort me. My kitties love to be told they’re loved and missed. And I always miss them.
This isn’t actually a true video it’s like babies they don’t have a language they just do their best to communicate using whatever body language or sounds they can make
I was watching this next to my cat, whenever there was a sound of displeasure, he would stop grooming for a couple minutes, and eventually, he got up and moved away from me about half a foot.
My cat knows - BobE 'stop it' - 'No' - 'I'm gonna pa'i your butt' all pronounced as written! She'll usually answer with the 'IF LOOKS COULD KILL' stare! 😂 we understand each other perfectly 🤣
You have a very wholesome relationship with your cat and I'm so happy for you! Both of you understand each other so well, I'm sure your cat has kept you as your pet for a very long time now!
I did this to my cats fighting. They stopped and looked at me. And then they both looked at each other again as if they where like "Yep, he's one of us now"
My sister onced growled and hissed at the cat WWE fight in front of our garage once when it was night time. The neighborhood cat mafia didn't dare step near the house ever since 😂
@@TheDavischandlerthey misspelled "car" as "cat", and the short explains that "Ke" is one of them words that scared cat, so the cat gets scared when the dad says "Key"
Wow, steals the dog whisperers sound and makes it as her own! She should be extremely embarrassed! You always give credit to the original creator or you become despicable in your viewers eyes!
My 2 cats are so respecful and peaceful! I pray and praise God with them each day! They are part of my happiness and I am so thankful to God ! Love and Joy !❤😊
HI NICOLE… AMEN!!! THANK YOU!!! MY SENTIMENT AS WELL… I FIND THE INTRO & PIC VERY DISTURBING ESPECIALLY WITH THE KNIFE AND PHRASE “ILL KILL YOU”… MY FUR BABIES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MY SAVING GRACE❣️ THE GREATEST AND BEST GIFTS FROM OUR LORD AND SAVIOR ARE CHILDREN AND ANIMALS❣️ GOD BLESS & PROTECT THEM ALL!🙏🏼✝️💐
@@joyboy8280 the technique in the vid works, took me a little to practice. My cat lunges and I say XI which stops her. She isn't upset, no lateral tail swishing just a little surprised.
@@joyboy8280Cats don't have a "language" in the same way we do. The only reason these noises would work is because they've got a high-pitched 's' or 'k' sound, which would get their attention. My cat knows when I go "Ah!" in an angry tone, that she needs to stop whatever she's doing. If you're wanting to successfully stop this behaviour, it's best to follow advice from animal behaviourists rather than YT shorts. Successful strategies include redirection (swapping your hand/arm for a toy the moment they start to bite/claw/kick) or just walking away. Mother cats will just walk away from a kitten that's getting too boisterous, only coming back after a time out. If a cat thinks they've upset you they will sometimes mimic this behaviour - cats often want some alone time when they're upset, so think we want the same thing. TLDR: There's no magic cat language, cats aren't well studied compared to other pets. Stop your cat from seeing your hand/arm as a plaything by swapping for an actual toy or using a time-out.
I was mad at my cat right now and i saw this video i thought of trying to do it on him but as soon as i saw him my anger turned into cuteness ❤❤❤ i can never get angry on him >>>
Yeah, frequent for cats hah. I'm pretty sure a lot of them are smarter then most dogs. They just are more independent and not as caring about making sure we are happy. Vrs dogs have been breed to make sure WE are happy for the most part. There are some cats that are like that also though.
Whenever my cats try to squabble, I just have to say “Be nice!” and they listen and separate lmao. And if they’re doing anything else that’s generally naughty, I just give them a stern “Eh!” like a mom that’s _daring_ you to disobey her one more time 💀
“Eh!” Is a phrase my mom used on both me and the cats when I was growing up. So naturally it’s crossed over to my own cats and I’ve always found it very effective.
Cats may not understand your words, but they can catch on to the meaning of certain spoken sounds and tones over time, they probably hear the *ice* sound as a stop being aggressive signal, and EH is a general aggression sound to them, they tie it to how you act when it's said and know you make that sound when displeased.
l@@TowerArcanaCrow , it's generally a combo of the emotional tone and actual words... and the amount of words known varies cat to cat (or dog to dog or other pet to other pet.) I've flat out had conversations with cats where I'm sure they knew about 80% of what I was saying. IT was all highly related to stuff they want, food, going outside, not being able to at the time and other stuff. I'm pretty sure they understand A LOT of our conversations with each other also. Not the super abstract stuff but they know stuff like "work" means you'll be gone for awhile. "store" probably means you're gonna bring stuff home for them. And on and on and on. So like, "I love you, I'm going to work" ends up being, "good emotion", "Work"=you're alone for hours etc etc
The video is usually longer lol, it shows that its a fake knife at first, but i can understand the mistake when you see it for the first time without that initial context.
the thumbnail saying "I'll kill you if you do that one more time!" had me scared bc i thought someone was actually threatening their cat lol (i didn't read the title)
Honestly when my cats are doing something they shouldn't be, i just say their full name (we call our spotted cat punzi for short, her full name is rapunzel. My tabby cats name is Katy, she doesnt have a full name but we just say Katharina when shes doing smth bad.)
You can actually speak your own language, as cats are, just as dogs, perfectly able to learn and understand several simple words and names. The most important thing with cats is to understand that they will understand these words, but will also pretend not to. Once you know this they will understand that you know it, and change their attitude. For example, if my cat is over-excited and way too vocal at the moment I prepare his food, I make sure he calms down before eating. So I taught him to sit and wait. If he refuses I say "you will get food when you sit". And I wait while pointing a finger to the floor. As a smart cat he then sits and calms down. I then say "good" and give him his food. We once had a cat on a visit which was so uneducated he just wanted to fight. He caught my hand and bit it. I did not withdraw my hand, and he did not really bite or claw too hard. I calmly said "no", and he released his grip. After 3 days he was behaving peacefully and friendly, which is the normal attitude of any educated domestic animal.
@@chadwarden8664nah it's basic Pavlovian shit If the yellow berries make you sick but the purple ones don't, you're going to keep eating the purple ones If the yellow berries that make you sick are a weird shape, you won't eat weird shaped Berries regardless of colour
@@chadwarden8664yes an no, they don't actually understand the words, they just recognize the sounds. It's similar to how you can basically talk to a dog in a "you're such a good boy" tone, but say something extremely insulting, but they'll just be happy and excited to hear it. Simple words like no can essentially be "understood" by animals, but, they only understand the sound, and the context it usually connects to. Like with no, which usually is understood as, "they don't like me doing what I'm doing and want me to stop."
Lol my cat listens to me well cuz I learned to decipher their body language as well as hissing. He knows when he fucks up cuz he gets the “I’m about to fuck you up!” growl. But for the most part he just likes to be petted and hug your arm cuz he is surprisingly sweet for a black cat.
Ye, same Just listen to how they do it when they do it. Sharp hissing is almost an universal warning throughout nature anyway, as is growling the almost universal next escalation step - we all just animals after all😂
I do appreciate you sticking strictly to the verified facts as you know them and not adding any of the rumors and speculations that have been floating around. It’s perfectly acceptable to say “I don’t know/we don’t know for sure” and it seems like such sentiments have collectively disappeared from online discourse
Yeah i condensed it to one phrase, its sss'git every time i do this, when the cats are acting out, and my belgian malinois puts a stop to it in the most gentle way, its hilarious, and absolutely handy
I got an orange kitten recently, and tried doing the Ke thing. It works!! Maybe because he's so young, but he stops any time he hears that. It's pretty cool honestly
Gee thanks. My sister in law has 11 cats and since we're neighbors, her cats every night climbed at my room's roof and are always fighting. I hope "Xu, Ke, Si" works😅
