How to schedule SQL Server database backups. 

This video shows you how to schedule database backups in SQL Server. In this tutorial, we are using SQL Server 2014 management studio.
We first make sure that SQL Server Agent is started and then set to automatic to ensure that it starts when the computer starts.
We create two maintenance plans:
1. To produce database backups
2. To delete old database backups that we no longer need.
