While I feel bad about that, I still bought it because it’s not easy to avoid animal testing in products. It definitely has gotten way better though which is great!

But animal testing is completely avoidable and there are other ways to test the reliability of a hygiene product. Plus, animals and humans don't have the same skin sensitivity, so I'm not seeing the point. Cruelty free products work just as well as non cruelty-free, so again, I'm not seeing the point in harming dozens of animals when you could have the same product without the animal harming.

to those who posts "PSA it's not cruelty free"...you're showing your ignorance. ANY ingredients used in skincare, even vit C and niacinamide has been tested on animals years or decades ago. how do you think we get to know the result of its efficiency? just because another lab or company commissioned the clinical testing doesn't make ANY brand free from cruelty. if a brand uses an ingredient that was once tested on animals, it makes the brand not cruelty-free, regardless if the company itself tested on animals. it is built on the research that tested on animals. period. any brand that claims "cruelty-free" but uses ingredients that have been researched on animals in the past still falls into the cruelty category...looking at all propular ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamic c, niacinamide etc...then the label cruelty-free is just a marketing gimmick. it doesnt absolve them from profiting from those animals tested by some other companies. y'all really are ignorant.
