This week I finally get around to making a pod racer from junk.
If your new to the channel, I'm Aaron and I like to scratchbuild all kinds of things from broken toys and everyday trash (clean trash).

Abbra cadabbra! It's maagiiic! But, seriously. I'm a lukewarm Star Wars fan, but I do love the pod racers. It was a pleasure to see it come together! I imagine that at least a few pod racer pilots have been fried by the engine exhaust plume due to the failure of the energy binder. And nothing wrong with Pod Racer Purple!

Not sure how I missed this one, but better late than never at all. Awesome build, you even used some LEDs. Aren't you getting all smancy, ooohh. 🧐 I love the closed cockpit, you don't see that very often in these builds. Don't know about you, but I'd want more than a tiny windscreen between me and two barely controlled rocket engines. Not to mention hitting bugs at 500mph. 🪰💀 Keep up the great work Aaron!! 👍👍

Looking good! If you want to rough up the decals you can sponge on some of the purple paint onto the edges to make it look like the decals are chipped. I suck at decals anyways they always rip on me. Ready for 2024 the year of TBA .

I never realized you hadn't made a pod racer yet. I really thought you had. LOL! Always astonished how tidy that workspace looks. Is that "camera magic," or are you really that tidy?

I couldn't believe I've never made a pod Racer either. Yes that is how tidy my workspace is. It has to be because I'm usually doing two videos at once so the continuity has to be correct 🤣😂🤣. 9 times out of ten I'll stop filming one of the two videos because Im not getting on with one of the builds.
