Literally two days too late for my costume ! 😫😫 but I think I got a great effect with expanding foam then melting black bags over it as a kind of skin! It works so well for demon horns as you get a hot melted hell kinda vibe 😈😈

I suppose I would have to subscribe to actually find this out. But I wondering how much detail would it pick up once its cast? or do you have to make sure its constantly wet to make sure the detail is kept?

If you sculpt it in a firmer plasticine or wax, you can retain a ton of detail. Just depends on what you plan to cast in and what material you use for the mold. I cast in metal so I usually make mine in rubber or silicone molds and make waxes. Using jewlers investment material you can get fingerprint-level detail.
