Make sure you mix the Acrylic Gloss Sealer gently first using a painters wooden stick before applying it to your Rhinestones, do NOT shake the can, then use a sponge brush instead of using the painting brush as the Bristles come off the painting brush, and you have more control using the sponge brush cause of the shape of the sponge that's on top and you can use the corners of the brush gently so it will not get everywhere where you don't want the sealer to go. You can pick up these sponge brushes in any craft store, art supply store, Amazon. Also, to clean them just use a dab of dishwashing soap, warm to hot water and gently squeeze out squeeze out the sealer with your fingers until you see no more residue come out, then just let it air dry and it's good for the next time you use it 😀 Also, when drying keep checking it for if by chance you see bubbles just take a pin and pop it. I used to Decoupage and also taught people how to Decoupage so this is where I learned my tricks from 🤩

Hey Mrs C - I used the Deco Art Triple Thick brush-on gloss glaze on my partial special shaped diamond mosaic, and it turned out fine! So that's a relief :-) For anyone interested, I got the Deco Art Triple Thick brush-on gloss glaze from Amazon.

Love the Video! I'm a newby and just finished my first project for my pregnant daughter; a partial drill notebook for her to keep a journal. My question is; since it's a partial (turtle, various decor, and lined with diamonds on the outside edges), do I go ahead and seal the entire cover? Or, should I use a fine paint brush and just seal along the drills? Thank you for your help and your videos!

I love using this since the spray can clear gloss sealer seems to disappear in stores I like using this when drills are not sticky

Hi! Thank you for all your videos. They are very helpful. I do have a question. I have several small special drill paintings with wide open areas between drills.Like a Santa with the boots outlined in rhinestones but not the boot itself. Should I seal the in-between parts or just close to the drills?

thank you for doing this. You are entertaining as well as informative. I have finished several diamond paintings for gifts which will have to be mailed. I am planning to have them hanging from dowels with custom beaded hangers. I had intended to roll them and put them into the boxes the kits came in but I am wondering about sealing. Is there a flexible sealant so the seal won't crack in transit?

I love this video but I do have a question for you what’s the best sealer for all special drill stuff storage organisers jewellery boxes key chains stickers Cards Christmas cards birthday cards. Halloween cards um brooches and special drill shape diamond paintings was the best to use my other question is do u need to water down any of the sealers that u use because every video I watch from other diamond painting goers each have different sealers . But the ones I like to learn from is u mrs coffee Rachel RAE AND DP ADDICTION ADVENTURES JENIFFER R AND MINDY SO WHATS THE BEST SEALERS TO USE ON THESE AS I LOVE SPECIAL SHAPE DRILL STUFF ITS AWESOME LOVE YA U WORK HARD GIRL

some kits if you try to seal a spot that is not drills will leave a wet mark so you have to be careful, Happened with a Diamond Dotz that I did.

Thanks for this! I just completed my first special shaped diamond mosaic (I usually do full drills round & square), and was wondering if and how I could seal these partial special diamonds. I use the Deco Art Triple Thick gloss glaze on my 'normal' DMs, do you think it would be okay for the special diamonds partial drills? I noticed that you used a more watery sealant.

Hi there, my question is this. After sealing a special drill project, does it take away from the shine of the gemstones? If so, should I go over the drills with a small toothbrush to clean the sealer from the top of the gemstones?

Can you also use this for like wallets pillows purses mask I’ve been searching online in diamond painting really coming out with some good stuff and I’m deciding To find the best glue to keep my diamonds sealed on my purses backpacks diamond paintings pillows you name it so I can is this the best one to use please hope to hear you’re back from you

Thanks for posting this :). Is it necessary to seal a DAC painting? I have seen videos that say yes and others that say no so its a little confusing.

well, it's a matter of preference honestly. I have over 20-30 DAC's in my house only 1 is sealed. Honestly I only seal Diamond Paintings when I do video's and I haven't had any issues with the kits i do.

It’s Minwax, not Miniwax. Minwax has been around for a long time and is great! For those who are concerned about the sparkle, Minwax will keep it’s shine and sparkle. I used on an art project in high school back in the mid 70s and my project never lost its shine and more importantly the Minwax didn’t yellow.

Crafting with Mrs. Crochet and Coffee Do you seal your diamond art projects that are going to be framed with either glass or acrylic? I’ve heard if you frame them, they don’t need to be sealed because the glass or acrylic will protect them.

I don't do a lot of sealing unless I am doing a video. Any pictures i personally frame aren't sealed. Its up to you if you want to seal it or not
