Hey guys, I really appreciate the quick video break down. The instructions with the humidor helped as well. We will see how she seasons, but so far great product.
Hi guys ,i just got this humidor and i followed the steps on this video, it hasn't been 20 minutes yet and I already have a reading of 69 % (tropical climate). My question is, do I need to leave for 12 h still or can i go ahead and place my cigars already?
How do you keep the humidity the same throughout the year. Do you need to empty the tray and start over again or just add a little solution throughout the weeks. It’s my first time having a humidor and I have this one so I wanted to know about the maintenance
Hey Michael. You can add solution as needed. If you see the humidity is dropping, you can open it and add more solution. It's also recommended to empty the tray and change the gel beads a couple if times a year. Our Klaro subscription is perfect to get all you need.
So seasoning this way only takes 1 ot 2 days? How does the wood season that fast? Won't it be too dry after so short seasoning and suck the moist out of yoru cigars??
when mine got to 73 i put cigars and my cigars are not dry there were stored in 72% using boveda in a ziplock bag ,then the humidor suddenly got to 62 in a matter of days,u need to check on it every time and it is very tiresome i even check for it every day to refill and hope it's not getting above 72% and get cigar beetels or mold , also I'm using the winter and dry climate,u need to have a backup humidor or ziplock bag with boveda just in case u need to re season or refill it , that's my lovely experience nothing is simple with storing cigars the only simple way to take your mind off cigars is put it in a ziplock bag or airthight container and boveda pack and your good to go.
Temperature is controlled by the room. You’ll need to move to a cooler room. The humidity can be lowered by removing the hydro tray for 24 to 48 hours and then adding it back in.
