I use Wordfence already, but not the other two - great info and I'm off to add WPS Hide Login and WP Activity Log right now

Good question. TBH I dont really worry about this. I think having an SSL and all other security set up is good enough. But then again, nothing is fullproof. Even PayPal's website got hacked. And the recent The Plus Addons plugin vulnerability went around all security I had. But, the notifications, 2FA, Activity Monitor, and good old fashion backups saved our sites from a massive hack

Can you make a video all about SEO and how to setup and how to get the max out it? So that you only have to watch one video to get the most out of a seo plugin. Or you can make a serie of it

That’s a great idea and something I hope to do in the near future. An overview of SEO basics could go into a single video. But the really get a full understanding of SEO would take a series. There’s just so much to SEO.

Thanks to sharing. please consider testing Ninja Firewall (in full WAF mode) it’s way better than wordfence firewall for websites that are under attack. Actually through testing websites we findout wordfence slow the website donw in that situation but ninja works smoothly

Hey Omerata thanks. I will check out Ninja Firewall and give it a test and compare. The main reasons I recommend Wordfence is because of the ease of set up, it’s effectiveness and its free without all of the sales and annoying promo banners in the dashboard. Of course, if the site is under attack and doesn’t have really good hosting it will slow down from the attack. I look forward to testing Ninja. Thanks! 🙏

How do you compare WPS Hide Login with WP Hide & Security Enhancer?

I havent used WP Hide & Security Enhancer but looks cool. It has a lot of features. My only concern is many of the features would be duplicate since WordFence, WP Rocket, and Asset Clean Up do most of them and these are my 3 must have plugins for all sites I create. But if I werent using any of them, I would give it a try. Looks like a good plugin

Do you feel wordfence is more worthwhile than ithemes security? Ithemes also hides the login link in their free version when clicking advanced...

I used to use iThemes and had a few sites hacked with it. iThemes is good and has lots of features, but the one main one and the reason I am with Wordfence is for the WAF firewall.

How are these plugins affecting the website performance?

I've run test and had no issues. Wordfence is the heaviest and my sites performed better than when they had iThemes security. The Hide Login has no impact at all and the Activity monitor also had no impact or effect on my site's load time and speed test scores.

But one thing I didn't mention was that Wordfence can interfere with Elementor when editing. Sometimes need to deactivate WF while editing with EL. And when in development it is good to keep all deactivated until the site is ready to go live

what does it mean when it says word fence isnt supported?

This usually is due to hosting. Check these out - Do you have an SSL added (https), at least a PHP version 5.4 and up, and 128MB of memory? You can ask you hosting provider to check for you. Here is more on Wordfence requirements - www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/system-requirements/

@@LytboxStudio i just contacted suppoet and they gave me a list of plug ins thats werent compatible and wps hid login, and word fence was on there which is weird because thats literally all people recommend on RU-vid

Hmmm I doubt that. I use Wordfence and WPS Hide Login on literally every Wordpress site I’ve built and there are no compatibility issues. Have you tried disconnecting WPS Hide Login and seeing if Wordfence can activate? And who is your hosting?

Hey I just checked and it’s still free. Nothings changed. You might be misreading the 30 day delay which doesn’t mean it’s not free after 30 days, only that the paid version has real time scanning versus the free version which has a 30 day delay.
