Thank you! Yes, even though this was out of focus-it was immensely helpful! 👍🏼 There are lots of videos on soldering findings onto the ends of jewelry chains, but because I’m just beginning I’m not comfortable with that yet. Now I got to find out where these crimps are in my local area! 🤣

i couldn't find any other video on how to crimp tiny chains, so thanks for showing that! and coincidentally i also have a 1 mm chain, this was very much of help

For video like this, we really need to see the ends up close and clearly. Even with the card, the crimp/cord is often out of focus. I recommend that you get someone else to hold the camera so that they can focus in closely on the action as you perform the crimp.

Thank Guy! I completely agree!! I didn't really realize what an issue it was either until I watched it on pc instead of a phone! Hi! Apologizes I didn't see your comment sooner! To answer your question, you absolutely need a Crimping Plier to get that type of crimp, it's quite literally why Crimping Pliers were made. Trying to smash the crimps flat with something like a needle nose typically won't hold the strands in place very well. And the more you try to flatten it the more messed up the crimp will look, often causing it to break, or be sharp. So while no one wants to purchase a special tool, they are typically only around $12 now and will end up saving lots of time & frustration!
