I have five planets scattered in all my water signs which turned out to be pisces, cancer and scorpio which are my first, fifth and ninth house respectively. Many years ago, I threw copper coins into a river for forty three days ie three coins with a hole in each and three coins without a hole per day. It was done after sunrise. Currently, I am throwing a coconut into a river on a new moon day as I am running rahu dasa. It is done after appeasing my ancestors. I do listen to rahu mantra on a daily basis. My natal rahu is placed in my seventh house which is virgo.

Dr Arjun Pai has clearly explained the significance of Mantra, tantra and yantra with respect to meaning, pronounciation and application and also initiation to mantras well. Slokam is totally different from Suktams and Veda mantras like Shikshavalli , Narayanavalli, Samaved mantras etc. Slokams are meagre poems and even bhagawat geetha comes into this category. They can be recited anyone and even with or without initiation by guru. Mantras and suktas and Veda upanishad mantras are also poems but they need guru initiation because of Sanskrit pronouciation rules are very tough and to be taught only by gurus who are doing Adhyayan. However today no guru is doing Gayatri for lakh times or crores time and only some grahastas interested in Gayantri Japa are doing them during sun and moon eclipse duration. Even many gurus and katha proponents never dwell on the details of mantra tantra sloga etc beyond their Pathasala education because they stop learning once they exit from pathshala like we stop learning after leaving college or schools.

There is one mantra that overcome all the is Hare Krishna mantra and being pure vegetarian will definitely help you always.

Fundamental problem in jyotishis is the chart itself. They read only one chart that is the rasi chart but treat it like a bhava chalit chart and start counting houses. As a minimum one has to have two of those charts. A planet in the so called 8th house in the rasi chart could easily rightfully be in the 9th house. In this case if predictions are made only looking at the rasi chart then the jyotish will give the reading of planet in the 8th house. That will give a wrong result. It will only give correct prediction if it is seen as placed in the 9th house and reading given. Please do a show on the Rasi and bhava chalit chart. Thanks
