I followed the procedure and found the passwords on my new iPhone X but I couldn't find the saved passwords on my iPad (iOS 9.3.5) and an old iphone5c (iOS 10.3.3) a friend has. I know that it is also possible in Safari settings but even there the passwords' list is empty although my facebook app, for example, is working fine with saved password on the same iPad. It means that the password is saved for FB app but I can't see it. I will greatly appreciate your response/help.
Glad the video helped. Thanks for watching! Sorry you felt the tone was condescending. That's not my intent at all. That's the sound of a guy who's posted nearly 600 videos to RU-vid in 2 1/2 years, lol.
:-) *The app for which I want to retrieve the password is not listed in that section. (Even though my iPad signs right in & uses the app every day) How can I obtain that password?* :-)
I'm trying to see my AppleID but it's blocked out. I can access the blocked out version on my PC and on my iPhone but I can't log into my Macbookpro as it's not accepting my fingerprint. I really don't want to change my password yet again
So, my case is...I don’t know the passcode to the iPad. So..I tried what you did, but it told me to do Touch ID or passcode. So...what do I do? If anyone knows the answer to this, please respond.
How come below comments are 2 years old comments ??? Where as this is a live show happeing now in 2022. I am confused. Something wrong here in the telecast.
OMG IM CRYING THANKS SO MUCH! My sister lost her account because she updated roblox a few years back and left so many robux and progress behind, luckily I saved the password 🥺
I have that password and account thing. My phone isn’t asking me do I want to save the password. Did I hit something when I was setting up my new phone? If so, please help.
FYI - your info is not accurate for the 7 plus. The “Websites and Apps” option you show in the passwords selection is not there on my 7 plus. The Settings option opens only showing the information for links to saved website addresses. I don’t know, so I’m guessing some Apps bypass a web browser and store the password somewhere else.
You go into "Passwords and Accounts" in Settings, and then you tap "Website and App Passwords" at the top. Locate the email account you want to see the username and password for in there. I hope that helps.
Max Dalton Thanks. I appreciate the suggestion, but I can’t find it in there. Maybe because I added my email accounts on my built-in iPhone e-mail app, so I don’t access them through a website. When I go into the iPhone email app, I see all my accounts but no passwords, Not even when I click on the individual e-mail account in question. There’s got to be some obvious thing that I’m not doing. I just can’t figure out what it is! 😭
