If you only get partial follower list, I had the same thing. When you are requesting download there is a "Date Range" option. It's automatically set to 1 year. I have set it to all time now for my second request, so it will probably work now.

Great vid. Just did this and worked like a charm. One thing to note is that the Data Download feature has been relocated under "your activity". It still exists, but Instagram's settings layout has changed slightly since this vid.

@@ethanliu122 Here's what I did using the iOS App. Instagram > Profile pic at the bottom right > 3 lines (hamburger menu) at the top left > Your activity > Download your information > Request a download > Choose your IG account > Select types of information > Followers and Following > Choose settings (format, quality, date range) > Submit request

Also didn’t work for me. I used the old method and it was fine. This new download data information is wrong while it shows a few people that aren’t following back it doesn’t show all of them. Also it shows accounts that do follow you back even though it says they aren’t. Instagram is straight up no longer sending the correct data.

I've tried this, but before I delete anyone, I click on who they are following; and many times, I'm there. I double checked pages that I know don't follow me, and I'm not there. So for some reason, the list that shows the difference isn't accurate for me.

After all you are just comparing that and not who unfollowed you in its entirety/ Unless you are following back your entire follower base ,this doesnt work. This will show you anyone who has already unfollowed you that you followed back. If want to see who unfollowed you over time, you can just compare older followers list with new ones. We posted an up to date version this week.

I only have about 800 I’m following ,I have no life and when I’m bored in work I’ll go into 100 or so accounts I follow to see if they follow back 😂😂 . If they have unfollowed I’ll like their last few posts and click unfollow. Petty I know. , but it makes me feel like a smug prick. 10 days whole account clean. Less than your 14 day wait… plus IG should have this tool already built in
