@@erenkocak that means more computing power for better images and it take some more time to load. This cost more of your "Midjourney image generating hours"
@@misteryshade6271 thanks a lot bro. I will ask you a few more questions. I bought midjourne for the first time and on the dashboard it says 2h 35m / 3h 20m. Will I be able to produce more images once this hour is over or will it slow down? and this says "Limited generations (~200/month)". Does this mean I can't produce more than 200 images? and do U1 U2 U3 U4s use this right? thanks again
There’s a way to have a change box pop when you select a variation to make any changes to the original prompt with the variation. I’ll look for the process and see if I can tag the video here.
Just a little tip/reminder, if you want to generate images and being consistent, upscale the image and copy its link and do “/imagine image-link prompt”, it will make a better variation do not just click the variation button
@Starting with Stockings the is command is (/imagine the-link-of-image your-prompt) there’s no do try searching for midjourney commands with image links in it
this works, but using the variation button does something similar. they are linked as a 'parent' image, so it uses that as reference for variations of the image you chose.
If you take a screen shot of the Clipart your interested in imitating and use the /describe feature in MidJourney it will give you 4 prompt sets that match the given image. Helps me out alot
I just want to say thank you for making this video! I set up my shop, followed your instructions and just got my first sale after only 2 days open! Best of luck to everyone in their venture 🎉
First of all, nobody buys the AI crap (midjourney has 500 million users in discord, why would they buy from you). Second, you're polluting Etsy listings and both the customers and the artists will hate you 😂
32:40 You will still have Text because you are writing the Parameter in a wrong way. You don't just write (no text), instead when you write Negative Prompts, you must write it as a parameter using two Dashes and after the text. ( --no text ). Also if you don't Edit the images properly, or remove the background people will not buy again from you a second time, when they realize that they bought a clipart with a white background on their first purchase.
I found today using PS to upscale to 400 DPI still doesn't look as good as a 6x upsize at somewhere like Nightmare AI. When I compare the two the one I upscaled in PS just looks less crisp up close even though the resolution is roughly the same for both - ~6200x6200. Why is this? Does Nightmare just use more advanced AI?
I started my store 2 weeks ago after watching one of your videos and I have already made 31 sales totalling around $81 cad in revenue, which is way better than I expected! Thank you for your help and wisdom and I hope you continue to create high quality content on youtube!
Do understand that purely AI generated art holds no copyright, and technically that is supposed to be disclosed during any monetary sale of it. To be clear that means that the visuals are purely generated by the AI. The the text prompt it self, at best, constitutes you as a patron, and not the creator, and there can be no transfer of copyright to the patron, like with work for hire, because there was no copyright holder in the first place. Why is this potentially important? If one does not disclose this type of information during a sale, and the buyer finds out later, then the buyer has potential legal recourse to sue the seller over it, because selling AI art as ones own can constitute fraud, and the last thing one wants is a legal battle over it.
Just remember that AI art can't be copyrighted, so anyone can steal your work and sell it themselves. Profit off the work of others just like AI profited off is artists! Have fun, kids! Sincerely, a human artist. (:
Hello friend, just an advice for you: if you want to use a negative inside a prompt in midjourney, you have to write it like this: --no xxxxxxxxx, where the x is the thing you don't want to appear in your work. Remember the dashes. Live long and prosper!
Productivity is never accidental; it is always the result of careful planning, dedication, and consistency. I am grateful to God for my advisor, Yuval Eric Brokman; with his help, I am now financially secure, earning between $10,000 and $25,000 per week.
Thank you for the video because I am teaching myself and I was getting overwhelmed on the how to start. Your step by step guide has really helped my aging mind. All my questions I had and procrastination went away after following your course. I feel much more confident now. My son has done Clip Art for about 6 months now and loves it but I don't want to drive him crazy by asking him constant questions. Hopefully I can have enough money in a few months to join your month membership because of your help.
Thank you for doing this. With regards to not having MJ adding texts, try --no texts or --no watermark. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't. Also try adding suffix to save some time. Cheers.
Great video, One question. I have watched several Etsy videos like this where they tell that upload everyday at least 2 new graphics to get into better position at Etsy listing. Do you also agree with this? I'm asking it because you video is a true honest one not like the other "Do this and you will make 10 000 USD in a week" ones. Best Regards and Thank You!
It’s a big marketplace. They aren’t pushing anyone out. Different people search for different things. If Etsy didn’t want it there they wouldn’t allow it. I’ve bought all kinds of stuff from Etsy. From actual art made by artists, to clothes, to antiques for decoration for my home and my business. There’s room for everyone to thrive.
I agree with you that there is room for all of us, and a platform has the right to change with times to survive in this day and age of AI. I believe there is no turning the clock backwards and success will come to those that are willing to embrace change and are happy to learn new things. Don't lose heart in posting your content for creators using AI. There are a lot of us and we are searching for videos like this. 😊
The only thing from this video is, START DOING IT NOW! Patryk has laid out everything. Kudos to him for walking through every step. Thank you. Thank you so much!
Hi Patryk! Thank you very much for your professional and comprehensive guide to the world of digital image sales. I have spent many hours watching and searching for the right information on youtube on this subject and I can honestly say that so far your 2 videos are the coolest /the other 15 minutes long and this longer/. Most of the videos are mostly just sensationalist for the sake of clicks with the promise of big money and are more for only the emotions. But your videos really help me to go step by step through the whole process. I am grateful for your professional help! One question at the end, if I may... financial topic, I don't think you mentioned this in any of your videos. What format can be used for payment after the sale within the Etsy system? Is a regular bank account or paypal enough, or is some other platform required? Sunny days to you! :) Sanya /from Hungary/
This is actually one of the most informative and honest videos ive seen on the steps taken from research, designing and uploading and ads. Thank you! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
That's wonderful guys. Just let me know what is the link from your Etsy shop, i will re-sell all your ai generated images as mine, since you can't copyright them. Such a great business plan!
Great video! Can you do a short video on obtaining free mock ups or using MJ to do this? I think a couple photos showing potential buyers what they can do with the art is helpful.
things like this are why people hate ai art. its not the people like me where we use it just for fun, its people like you who make so much art you flood the market making there skills useless.
Omgeee its so good i learned everything i was looking for..thanks will not be enough for all the knowledge you gave ..loved every bit of it ....tons of thanks 😊
Great tutorial! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what you did in Photoshop is just an image resize, not upscaling. Unless is an SVG format, the quality is significantly reduced via this method. AI upscaling - this is the way :)
Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but he puts a lot of work into these videos to provide all of this free information. Could have worded your statement to sound more supportive.
I made a lot of money from my yotube recently but why is this a bad thing ? That’s the main reason why I opened my RU-vid to make money out of it. You don’t have to watch my stuff if that bothers you
Hi, Patryk so many videos are online about making money online but you get my attention and I watch your video from beginning to end. Thank you keep your work as you do 😊🤗
What great tutorial!!! THANK YOU!!! For taking the time to do this video. So much useful information. I wish I had seen this weeks ago when I was first setting up my Etsy store. Please keep making these videos so much value!!
Great breakdown of the process! Wanted to point out that DigitalCurio has been around since the dinosaurs, ie they are a VERY well established seller (since 2014 on Etsy, 750k sales, they sell on all the graphics platforms, and are also a 'retail' designer of digital scrapbooking products, etc). They DEFINITELY have a gigantic mailing list they've built over the years. Which is why they can sell hundreds of units of a new product practically overnight. Just a reality check so that nobody thinks they're a failure, or that Patryck's information isn't good, when they can't immediately replicate that kind of performance.
I do have to respectfully disagree with the concept of you can just fling anything up and wait for the money. Already Etsy is FULL of AI imagery, and competition is fiercer every day. You have to give the customer what they want, not what you can be bothered to make. That means taking the time to make your PNGs transparent (that's WHY PNG is favoured over JPG).
Lots of other tips I could offer (to do with packaging, not wasting the space under the download link - it's the most valuable space you will ever own, getting repeat business, building a fan base so you can sell multiple units immediately every time you release a new bundle/product, why some listings are magnetic to buyers whilst others are ignored, why how you name your files matters - and should never be just a number, etc etc. Having been in this business (the old fashioned way, and now also with AI assistance) for decades and online for 27 years, I can guarantee that in 6-12 months, 90% of the people currently selling - or trying to sell - AI images on Etsy will have given up and moved on because they can't make any money from it. Half-assed only works for a short time in the 'Golden Egg' opportunities, and in this case, that time is rapidly coming to an end. If you want to make passive, long term income from this goldmine, you MUST do it BETTER than the 90% of people who are lazy, half-assed wannabees. It's not hard, but it is essential to success in this game. Wish everyone the best of luck.
I see you’re just as confused about Creative Fabrica as I was. I stopped selling on there. CF’s seller analytics are horrendous. You have no idea where your sales are coming from. If a non-subscriber buys a product then, yes, you can see that, but otherwise no. You see money coming in (very, very little money) but what sold? As a seller it’s VERY important to know what is selling. I complained to them and the CS rep’s I spoke to agreed that it wasn’t perfect but had no idea if that was going to change. I complained that it was like the owner of a real store having access to sales receipts at the end of every month but no access to inventory counts. Ridiculous and NOT in the least transparent.
When you have thing like text show up in your art you can use things like photoshop to remove them or Canva has a great tool to remove things from pictures. That way you can still use them and not have to keep doing variations. It only takes a minute or two in Canva to remove items in a picture.
Hey there, Thanks for the guide. At the 9:30 mark you go over how to adjust the settings. I was wondering if they recently updated the setting because I do not have the "high quality" option. Also i see a 5.1 version that i do not see on your, please advise.
i highly recommend to use the high subscription at mid journey to be able to hide your images. you would be surprised how many ppl use images created by others in MJ. While it isnt illegal bc we dont own the rights to created art with MJ, its pretty annoying to see own prompts in the listings of others - happened to me various of times. Sure, MJ subscription is not cheap, but its worth it. Just my 2 cents 😊 great video!
when i type in settings on midjourney to change to version 4 and change the style etc nothing comes up. will this work without being able to change settings?
You are amazing Patryk! I finally opened an Etsy shop and I wouldn't have been able to if not for your guidance, so THANK YOU! My only question is, is it enough to upscale the images on Photoshop or do I need an Ai image upscaler as well?
Ok you’re first person I see that doesn’t make like 5 different ratios and sizes to sell. Is ok to just Upscale and then sell as a bundle or individually. I can’t for like of me figure out how to resize . I sell AI art of human people and I always cut their bodies off, What size should I sell them as if I only provide one image . The Photoshop Upscale-makes them 2048 x 2048
Thank you for this comprehensive tutorial. Just in time. Youre helping a lot of amateurs. Soon, ill have my own YT Channel specifically for this purpose.
Hey there thank you for making this super long super detailed video, i wont hide it but i let my store sit for 2 days because the listing options got me super scared and overwhelmed to deal with alone!
It should be perfectly legal, as many people are generating pictures on Midjourney and doing POD (Print On Demand) with t-shirts, mugs, etc. So using AI Generated pictures with Midjourney's paid subscription, I believe you can use any of the pictures for commercial use, physically or digitally.
If you type in the prompts and not using someone elses existing image it's YOUR art. The generator is just another artists tool so should be no legal issues using and selling YOUR images generated by it. It's none of Etsy's buisness how you create it. If a time comes where it's looked down upon due to some social mind virust contagion just similply exclude "AI generated" from any avertisements in your art.
@@Morggin That's just not the case. AI generated art can't be copyrighted unless you make a transformative change to the image that goes beyond simple adjustments in photoshop, etc. As far as sellers on Etsy selling to others asserting that they are passing along a commercial license, again, they don't even have a copyrighted image to license to someone else in the first place. Sure you can sell an AI generated image, but anyone can take that and also use it commercially with your permission or not.
so much waffle! ok? Alright... separate the wheat from the chaff! Does chat got remove the crap from the substance this vid is one an hour because you start talking about this and that and introducing blah blah....just tell us your method. example waffling on about removing back ground. OK?
yo tnx for the vid and honestly ive never my whole life ever watched 1hr long video here on YT hahahaa. Best video for starting from scratch hands down, believe me all those other youtubers aren't detailed enough when it comes to step by step on Etsy. well done!! I have so many ideas!
I am not convinced with this video. Who would buy images that is not customized and tailored for their business. Anyone cam download images from anywhere for free.
Hello! Thank you for this tutorial, it's awesome, i strongly belive that this is the most complete tutorial on this topic from youtube! Excellent job! :D I have a couple of questions as a new seller on etsy, im just gone list them here haha :D I have an etsy shop, opened few weeks ago (1-2) after i saw a couple of videos from you and others on this topic, i have viewers and clicks but no purcheses atm(i'm running ads), I went for the seamless patterns niche so as a first question: Do you create variations of digital art? I've noticed you do clipart, but i was wondering if you also do stickers, wall-art, seamless patterns or if you will explore those in the future as well Does the store's success depends on the location you are on the globe? for example I live in Romania, will this affect my overall progress of the shop? And last question, for now of course :D, does print on demand products like the ones from redbubble or printify etc.. are a way to continue the etsy store evolution? i mean, in the idea that if you do the art why not go all the way in and also go for the products with the art on the, this is more of a curiosity In any cases this tutorial is very valuable and i appreciate your work ! Keep up the good work Patryk!
Hey, I only sell digital products. I don’t do print on demand. I don’t location matters at all since it’s all digital. Try listing more, you can also lower your price and increase it later. Run promos etc
Informative Video...as always !!! Question : Could you make a Vid on how you automate (..if you do ) your work ? I KNOW that making 20 designs with many variations takes a lot of time...and I suspect that you have an automation method for doing most of it..... Any info welcomed !! 👍
Great video, I followed your instructions and created a store and listed my first item successfully but unfortunately my country is not in the payment options and I can't proceed to marketing and promo part. Please how can you help me to set up payment. Please I really need to be on this platform to sell. Am a very creative person.
Amazing video ! prompting is art. if you get the right prompt you can get so unique. i spend 50+ hours to find the perfect prompt . but now im making money from that
Thank you so much for such an insightful compacted video. I just started on Esty and it is not easy to make the listings. you earned yourself a huge follower keep up the good work.
Can anyone tell my why you would go with Etsy and not big Cartel or Instagram shop? Genuine question - I literally have no clue. Is making your own website/shop still impractical?
Your way on Midjourney is difficult on a public server like newbies-113. Insted you can just create your own server where you see that big + on the left and you can create there and see only your own creations.
Wow. Only $358 in profit out of $972 in gross sales? Etsy is getting rich by exploiting sellers. I have a shop with almost 25 products and I can't seem to get it off the ground to make anything. Guess you have to have hundreds of products and a huge number of visitors to make anything decent, especially with all those Etsy fees. Going to watch this through and take notes. I need to get this shop going.
Etsy is the real winner when these youtubers make endless videos like this. They thrive in over saturated markets and thus have an incentive to create them with youtubers like this. Not that ai wouldn't be over saturated anyway.
@@Icedanon Yeah, ai is way over saturated right now. If you're going to use ai, use it as a tool to create elements and then use your design skills to create a unique product or art that uses that element, for example, I may create a base piece of artwork with ai, then use my Photoshop, Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo skills to build on that with other components I either create or License from places like Etsy or Creative Fabrica, to create a unique finished product.
If I was buying a png file I expect no background. it’s really lazy to promote png files and leave the white background on if your doing all the work might as well do it correctly
the other person was selling way more sunflowers for a $1.96 than you were. Don't you think consumer will think "there I'll get more stuff for my money"?
Hey. Thank you for sharing all of this information. I'm going to try to do this now. I'd been wanting to try it. But I had no idea how to get started or how to do any of this. This video is a blessing to me. And, you did so well explaining this so that everyone can understand. You kept it simple and basic and to the point and I really appreciate it. I do have 1 specific question. Is there a way that I could maybe reach you if I run into problems that weren't explained here in the video? Or should I comment here to contact you? I don't foresee having any problems. But just in case it would be great if I could contact you personally. Thanks so much. This is the best course video on this subject that's on RU-vid! THE BEST!!! You are a great teacher! You should make more video courses like this one!
ok, my question is; who is buying 'groups' of images? If they want a group, why aren't they making them themselves? So, they are buying a bunch of groups and then selling them on their site? I want to sell my AI art, but it looks like it's already being saturated. What do you say to that?
