I have updated the article that this video is based on. Thank you for letting me know my mistake - I'm always happy to get corrections.

In this video, we’re going to go over everything you need to know about how to sell your drone footage and what you need to pay close attention to to increase your success in selling.

BB takes only 15% and with the quality standards and possibility to collaborate with others it’s amazing. I have joined BB about a year ago and sold a few clips already with an amount of about 300 Clips

Your statement about how much black box takes is incorrect. When you sell a clip on the partner agencies. They give you a percentage of the sale which can range in price depending on whether it's SD HD or 4K. What type of license and use. From the percentage you get which is about 30%.Blackbox takes a small cut. It's not unreasonable to get $25 or more from a 5-10 second quality clip. I have been on BB for over two years and work it part time and have been able to establish a really nice method of creating passive income. Just like anything you do. You get out what you put in. I agree with you in principle about multiple strings of income.

Thank you. As a content creator who has literally mothballed my drone, this inspires me to simply build the website, and over time, through creating written blogs about the area and posting up the footage, create this piece of my business that is quite enjoyable, and profitable.

BB takes net15. I also sell on pond and will have a higher return from the bb sales. Folks. Use BB. They get preferred rates plus theyre building youtube channels and woeking on long format content with creator focus. I am not a paid employee of BB.

Hey, your statement that BlackBox takes 75% of royalties is completely false. BlackBox takes 15% of NET sales. Perhaps you could take the video down, make the correction so it is not misleading and repost your video?

I think you should re edit your video and get the facts correct about what BB’s fees are. You are being completely misleading on that front. Definitely good to have multiple revenue streams. It would be more useful if you had shown some real experience of using stock footage sites or selling via RU-vid or creating your own mini stock site. I’d be very interested in that actual comparison, backed up by your experience and sales.

Blackbox does not take 70% of your money. Blackbox takes 15% of your net sales. Now, the agencies like Pond6 will take 50-60%. I have made hundreds of dollars off selling drone footage through Blackbox.

@@DeeloGoodquest A lot depends on quality. I have just over 1500 clips uploaded and am averaging around $250-300/month. That took me 3 years but I do video production and teach too. You really need to get to at least 400-500 to start seeing $100 or more a month, unless you have some spectacular or unique footage. Think quality. Tell a story. Ask, would I ever buy this clip? Think of how something could be used.

Sorry Mate, I dont know where you take the percentage of BlackBox from, but thats not true. Its only 15% and they do a hell good job to help creators pushing their sales and freedom. Imagine how much time it would take to work on all the metadata on every single platform by your own. With you wrong Info about BB you missleading viewers and hurting not only BlackBox as a Platform with untrue points, you also hurt all creators putting in a lot of effort and work to make some sales or even a living from it. I suggest you take that video down and create a new one with correct infos. Kind Regards, Henry

Hello, I am a BlackBoxer and also created a very popular course on this subject. 4 of my lessons are about Blackbox and I believe you should correct what you are saying about percentages (Blackbox takes only a very fair amount of 15%). You cannot imagine how many other advantages you can have and that you did not talk about in this small amount..only 15%. I think you should seriously consider to correct the mistake or remove the video if unable to do that
