Hi, I found you through one of Jashustles video’s and your videos and hers have both been a lot of help… I literally found out about this maybe 5 days ago now and Im so ready to jump in… I have a good amount saved and a game plan just from watching videos, reading, and taking notes Super excited to start getting ungated after I get approved, really trying to change my future and not be stuck with a mandatory 40hrs till im 65 😤😤
Reezy, I respect the fact that you want to find your own path and do you! I got into this Arbitrage thing because of one of your videos and I just wanted to say "Thanks bro!" You opened my eyes to a totally different game and without all of the BS Guru crap!.. You kept it 100.... Hope you come back!
Reezy! Finally getting your lingo on trusting the process. My first FBA shipment was successful!:) That was a huge hurdle for me to get over. Now that I am, things are starting to make sense. After 18 years of being an EBAY seller a whole new world is opening up. Listing like crazy! Garage sale-ing like crazy. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Yay!! After spending years of selling on eBay myself it was a fresh of breath air to discover how a vertically integrated marketplace works and what the benefits are for listing; no pictures or descriptions!! Yay!! So much easier to scale, then throw in Fba and it's a scaling dream
When I had covid I picked this up while recovering. The 3-4th week I went out and went to work. The 1st and 2nd week sucked but after that it started to pick up. You'll know what sales or not. So if your not out there searching you'll never overcome this part. I still remember that feeling of figuring it out!
For the people on the amazon selling ! Advice many fast food restaurants will give you boxes 📦 for free I used to work on a mcdonals and there’s used to be boxed we threw away !! And sometimes people would come and ask and we would give them !!!
Thanks for your video’s! They’re clear and so informative without the tease of giving small information but having to pay for the rest of it or the most important.
very helpful blog, I am doing Amazon FBA UK and sourcing from China, I think the key thing of doing FBA is to find professional suppliers and freight forwarder to handle your first leg for your Amazon FBA, like IRFREIGHT, highly recommended.
I find you so genuine thanks for all the free content me still a struggling FBA seller every time I think of giving up your videos are so motivating and I keep pushing 🥰🙏🏻
I have been reselling casually since 2000 and a bit more ambitiously for the past four years. I have yet to dip my toes into Amazon. Taking #5 to heart. I appreciate you sharing your wisdom!
Reezy always keeping it real about reselling! Always direct new and experienced sellers to you for Amazon! Appreciate the shoutout! Greatly appreciated!🙏
Love the videos. Love the Story. Love the Journey! My nephew and I are picking up quite a bit from all your free content. So good of you to share your knowledge. Thanks, Reezy Resells!
You're the only one I trust for this information and only just found you tonight. I've watched countless videos like this over the years and was always turned off by the guru-type stuff and the buy my expensive class at the end of their short free video. 🥴 I totally understand people doing it but it wasn't helpful for me a bit. 😕This is solid information anyone should be able to use. Thanks again for what you're sharing. 🤩 You have a gift making this feel exciting. I can't wait to give it my best.
Thank you so much man that’s really helpful videos you got. my wife and i, we are looking for business to start next year with God first of course. Really interested on Amazon. Keep to positive energy.
Hi Reezy! I just set up my amazon seller and paid the first 39.99 usd account all set up but all the categories requires approval including home products Literally everything i don't understand why? Could you give me an advice on what to do?
I thought you said you were getting back into the YT game? You put out that video about quitting YT but I havent seen any live streams etc since you announced you were back.
I know I'm failing, haven't held up my end of the deal. I'm working on it, I feel like I'm closer to making more videos. It's gonna happen, but I'm still making excuses I guess
Hello Reezy thank you so much for the information that you share . Can you give me some advise on what to do when Amazon ask for Children Product Certificate and Test Product ?
What model are you think of starting with? Likely you need a small scale that weighs up to 50lbs and a regular printer. Everything else is small, like scissors and tape or sheets of labels. For software, I'd start w Seller Amp selleramp.com/reezy
Thank you for all your information! So I opened up my store. I got approved for a really good product. I’ve put the inventory in it all sold within 10 hours. The problem was that somehow the shipping was set up for free shipping and the shipping cost and me my profit, I have been trying to figure out the shipping but I can’t. Do you already have a video that explains how the shipping works? Or is there a phone number to call Amazon to see if they can help me with it? I have tried to reach them and it’s next to impossible.
Just go to your orders and click into an order, The shipping dialog will be there. Then you package the items and print postage and either take it to the carriers (usps/ups) or schedule a pickup. In the future, build your shipping price into your item price.
With that auto approved glitch on the app I’ve found better success going through the process on the website and actually being able to list those products after the approval
How much profit would you say you make on an item? This may seem simple for some but not for me.... If you have to pay a bunch of fees and packing and shipping and anything else... how do you make a profit? I can understand charging more than you paid as a very basic concept but how much more....
Reezy, I'm wondering why you buy items from stores instead of wholesale suppliers? Wouldn't you make more money working with wholesale suppliers and purchasing at wholesale prices? You could keep replenishing the same items, which would save time having to go shopping and look for products in stores.
Great question! A wholesale business has he's really far lower margins than arbitrage. Arbitrage regularly hits 30%+ profit and wholesale is gonna be 10-20% - Arbitrage deals are way better prices than wholesale, but it's definitely more continuous work to keep it going. The flip side is that wholesale is far more work to get going and requires more capital. Someone who wants to quit their job in the next 3-6 months, is not very likely to accomplish that via wholesale, nor is it a solution for someone seeking to make a casual side income every month For most successful hard working wholesale sellers, it can take over a year to replace your current income and quit your job Personally myself I always liked the hunt and sitting in an office and ordering products for wholesale never appealed to me. Nor did having to have a large warehouse and equipment and a team of employees to process the larger volume I became an entrepreneur for freedom first, not profit. To me, I see having a large business w a team that depends on me as a trap Id rather work for myself and make $3M at 30-40% than have a huge responsibility and run a $30M a year company at 10% But that's just me. Everyone is different Thanks for the question
So how do you get ungated to the point where you can walk in a box store and start scanning to find hits? These other people online don’t show the ungated process in terms of how many/often it has to be done. Do you get ungated on a few items and it unlocks the governor on Amazon? Or just get lucky?
Its recommended to start getting ungated in categories and not brands, so Health and Beauty for example will open you up to a lot. Also grocery is not gated at all and theres a plethora of products to sell there. If you want to sell big named brands like Sony, Nike, Nintendo, Disney etc. Youre gonna have to get ungated in them one at a time, and its recommended to do so as needed. checkout this video, it should help ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5CDLbk0BGI0.html
Question 1: does everything have to be new on Amazon? Question 2: if used, how come I don't see used pics of items like on Ebay? How used can things be on Amazon?
Has anybody messed around with the new feature in business reports??? There’s some thing there that says pages views… just wondering if anybody knows what that means ?
I set up my account a few months back as professional thinking I could really do this with what I had which I didn’t have much so then I ended up getting those fees every month and not making any money so my credit card was charged over and over again and I couldn’t keep up with it so then I changed it back to individual so I could maybe start from scratch again now it shows that I’m in the -$144 not sure if that just sits there or what and I really need tips on how to do this as an individual and maybe merchant fulfilled. And the thing I really hate and can’t stand is that you cannot talk to anyone and Amazon such a poor process
Well I really like your videos man they help me out a lot hopefully u keep posting I’ve learned alot from u if I can get ahold of u somewhere else that would be great
Do I set up my Amazon account as a private owned business or sell as an individual? In the future, I want to use my Retail Merchant Certificate to acquire some of my products to sell on Amazon.
Hey Reezy, I am a big fan of you and Ive been watching your videos since 2 years and I registered to your course now because I recently moved to the states but still confused regarding setting up my account on amazon and whether do I need an llc to start and a business bank account to get paid....
I’m a recent subscriber to your channel. And would like to start out saying that you for the content. It’s very good and concise. With that being said. I have a question. What problems I may face with Amazon if I want to post liquidated items??? And can I use that invoice as proof of the items I have ? Or will I need a more direct invoice ? That’s three questions I apologize. Thank you in advance for my feedback!!
No those invoices will not save you. Be extremely careful selling new items that you don't have a receipt from an authorized seller or distributor as you are unable to prove newness or authenticity
I had a question, I collect Lego sets and checked out ee distro to generate an invoice and they told me they don't sell Lego. Is there a different company to go to for that? Thanks.
They might not carry it anymore but usually it's just very sporadic that they have it. And it might not necessarily be the main brand for example of another brand partners w Lego, like an IKEA x Lego product, that product can get you ungated for Lego and IKEA
Hey. I am from Canada, my question is when selling used books, is it better to ship the books to Amazon in the USA or Canada? Also how do i find out the price for shipping? Is it still with UPS? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for these videos!
Hey Tina, just taking a shot here. I was looking at buying some items from a Canadian supplier and shipping those back was incredibly expensive. You sort of need a middleman between CA & USA which adds a lot of money. If you're close to the border and can drive across, then that would be much cheaper shipping-wise. Just get across the border, hit a UPS Store, and ship from there. But be aware that you might face a border inspection and may have to declare items coming across, that's where those extra funds go, import/export fees. But, that being said, if you're going to try that business model out, you might research how to get a courier license which may be an option to allow you to cross without paying fees. But don't try to break any laws :) So as an example for something I'm looking at, I know in the next county over there's an Amazon warehouse. When I get ready to ship, I'm definitely going to look at taking it there myself. A 30-minute drive for me is only a few dollars in fuel. But, at the end of the year, I get to deduct that mileage, shipping supply cost, and other business expenses while keeping the extra shipping money I'm saving in my own pocket. So keep that in mind for your own taxes too (if you have them), and keep good mileage records. Google maps is great for this, create a google account for your business, log into it on your phone while driving, and at the end of the month, maps will tell you how far you've driven, where you visited, and its "recorded", you can submit that as evidence if you ever get audited. I'm not sure if you have a Canadian IRS or not, but in the US, we can deduct certain business expenses which knock down our taxable income.
Shipping rates via UPS have gotten crazy expensive. You can drive non food stuff across yourself if under $2,000 USD but you need to make a customs declaration and include receipts and pay a nominal fee of $20.00 or so. You will need to use the commercial crossing, not regular passenger crossing. If your merch is worth more than 2K, then you will need a customs broker. You can still bring the stuff across yourself, but will need the paperwork from your broker.
Hi, thanks for all you do for us. Question about items, if I sell a new in package item and it gets sent back open do I have any recourse I get do? I can't sell it as new anymore and I don't know if it's even my item I sent in if it's fba. Anything I can do?
Hey Reezy, New to this channel, name is Val. I am thinking about doing the Amazon thing. Saw some of your videos and thought I'd reach out. Right now, I'm just trying to get as much info as I can. I gotta learn how to do the job before I jump in. I got the basics kinda. Just gotta learn the nitty gritty. So I thought I'd ask, Do you help people if they have questions? I haven't watched all your videos yet, you have alot of great info. Maybe some of my questions will be answered by them. Just a random question about the app. I've seen you talk about using an amazon calculator app or something when your at the store pricing. Is this app free, or do you get it when you become amazon registered? I'd like to do practice runs. The last thing I'd want is to start paying all these expenses every month without knowing how to do the job. You know, get everything set up for a 2 day start instead of 2 months of panic. Thanks bro.
Not sure if you watched the rest of Reezy's videos and got this answered but the app he is referring to is available to all amazon sellers both individual and professional. The professional will give you a lot more options with fba and more categories to sell in but it is a good idea to not spend too much in the beginning. Make a little profit and then use that to get some of the better apps to improve your success in identifying good sellers and speed up your productivity.
If you actually owed $13,000 in taxes which might not be true because a lot of Accountant CPA's have no experience with Amazon and I also bet you didn't write off a lot of your expenses you could've wrote off which would've lowered your taxable income greatly In the future, every time you get a payout from a selling platform you should put 25% of it away to pay for taxes in the future You should also keep meticulous records which can be done easily just by using a separate bank account and a separate credit card and photographing all your receipts. QuickBooks online is helpful for organizing stuff, photographing receipts etc, But you could get away with using something free like mint or wave as long as you also photograph your receipts and keep them in a Google Drive folder or dropbox or Evernote or something
@@ReezyResells thanks for responding! I did end up writing most of it off and ended up owing about 3k but that letter from the IRS was horrific and thankfully saving all my receipts did help. I made 70k that year and have been trying to tell my wife that you learn from mistakes but she’s just not having it. Wish there was a way to get her onboard to try again.
Love your channel just sent in my first shipment to Amazon and I got the email that it arrived but I looked up my products on the Amazon app noticed that of the 3-4 sellers all there stuff will deliver in 1 -2 Days my stuff won’t deliver till January…..?? Anybody else noticing this? Or had to deal with that problem ?
I had my identify identification on this past Friday still waiting for the Amazon email to confirm if I'm approved or not I'm no nervous still don't know what to sell I'm so nervous about all the process, any advice
I've been listening to your podcasts and RU-vid videos and in one of them you mentioned your consignment store, so I tried to type it in the web address but nothing came up. Can you provide it again please?
Thanks for great video. I have a question about ungate brand. I am really new seller, and I was trying to request for approval for big brand like Nike, Adidas and Lego etc. Then system just told me you are not approve to sell this products. They don’t even ask to provide the receipt. I checked the several other little brand, and some of them asked me to provide receipt to ungating. Do you know how can I request for big brand?
@@ReezyResells Yes. I am a pro merchant, 39.99 per month, right? It says your account does not qualify after I clicked request approval. I tried several big brand like Nike, Adidas and Lego etc. All the same. It said your account does not qualify. I tried some other small brands, these are asking for invoice for the approval, so I don't think it's account issue. I don't think it's only the case for me. Please advice if there is any solution.... It's so frustrating. Reply
I have followed your channel to the point that I decide to be proactive, I created my seller account and got approved, now the question is, how do I start sourcing for profitable product to sell or list on amazon for good profit. Although I watch a lot of your video and couple others, but, I have not seen that very beginner's video from having a new seller account to what I need to have like software or site to source product in detail, I want to start with the Online arbitrage, sourcing product and getting them delivered to me or directly to Amazon is what I need to understand how to go about in detail.
You need to learn how to use Keepa to read sales rank graphs and tactical arbitrage to source products from Websites, but you're also gonna be brand gated on a lot so you'll need to buy your way into brands with invoices and submitting them to amazon
Really recommend you start w your own stuff and used stuff doing merchant fulfilled before you step into bigger endeavors where you're more likely to make expensive mistakes
I’m looking at building a website for my new Amazon FBA business and going down the wholesale route. I'm having trouble finding examples of business websites that follow the same sort of wholesale FBA model. Based in England UK btw. All help appreciated.
