Great tutorial as usual with a comment and a suggestion. 1- (Comments), There’s a registry key that should be added to avoid annoying permission message with each send request. 2- (Suggestion), It’ll be better if the application can send customized picture or PDF. Hi Randy! Amazing info as always. If I enter the phone number, it finds the first thread with the phone number contained in it and sends to that user. For example, if I have sent the contact's phone number to Fred Fredders in a previous Whatsapp message, it will find that thread and send to Fred Fredders instead of to the number. if I use the contact's name as in the Contacts list, it works.

Hi and thanks very much. You could actually send unlimited pictures. You could modify the code to loop through all of the pictures you want to send. Simply open each picture up, copy and paste it using the SendKeys method described during the video. You will also want to use AppActivate to activate either the Excel Workbook or the WhatsApp application to switch between the two windows when copying and pasting. I hope this helps. Hi Jose, thanks so much. It may be possible using Copy and Paste, with sendkeys. Meaning if you have a picture in Excel and you copy that picture using the Senkeys Command in VBA then once you are in the Whatsapp, you may be able to use the Sendkeys to Paste it, with shortcut keys. Hi Andy, This is super awesome. I have a challenge whereby sendkeys put the text in the VBA code, in the next line and not in WhatsApp. I can see that WhatsApp is activated. Must mention I am using WhatsApp Business. Does this work on WA Business?

Randy, many thanks for making this. I got the template too. I tried it on my ancient windows 8 and it did not work because I cant download whatsapp for desktop. Then I tried it unsuccessfully on my wife's laptop but she uses microsoft excel online. Any suggestions? Also what do I need to do to get the fully automated schedule enabled version from you?

HI Randy. I absolutely love this, and other ideas you create for us vba novices. I have used this for my son's business which requires this type of regular reminder sending to his customers. He is having an issue however. He runs Windows 10, full version of excel, there are other macros I have built into his database to create customers and send invoices and they all run correctly. However when he attempts to send the WhatsApp message the macro runs but WhatsApp closes immediately and therefore doesn't send the message. The message then appears in whichever cell is selected on teh worksheet. WhatsApp is up to date, windows is up to date. Any ideas?
HI Phil, thanks very much for your comment and glad you like the training. Windows 10 with full version of Excel is also what i have, so that should not be a problem. Make sure the desktop version of Whatsapp is up to date, then try to put in some more delays in the code so you can watch and follow along. Perhaps you have an incorrect shortcut key or tab. Also, manually, go through the steps using your keyboard only. Also make sure that the WhatsApp window is in back (and not minimized) I hope this helps and thanks so much.

thanks its amazing way to send messages. but I have a problem which is if I add phone number but this number doesn't have WhatsApp app in this case the sending massages system will stop .I want to add some codes to force the messages system to skip phone number doesn't have WhatsApp and go to the next one.

I really don't know however you can check the Facebook/WhatsApp Terms Of Service and they may outline the limits there. I think its more about time. So my best guess would be around 30 per hour to be safe but i am completely guessing with no real data.

Does it still work ? Whatsapp changed alot, im getting random faults, its sending smileys , multiple times to same contacts and randomly selecting contacts. Tried with another version office. im using microsoft 365 and whatsapp bussiness.

What if the Phone Number is not valid for WhatsApp? My users provide a phone number, but not necessarily have WA associated to the number. Is there a way to validate it?

Hello, thanks for the video, I just downloaded the file, I have a question: how can I send several messages at the same time but not all of them be sent at the same time? That is, wait a few seconds and send the next one. I have tried some options that I didn't like at all, but I remember that I can make a "delay" of seconds for each message to be sent. This is very important so that WhatsApp does not block the account for detecting spam. It is possible that your file has this option but since I am a newbie I don't know where the option is, thank you very much for everything. ps: I am a freelancer who is just starting out (due to my age 50+) I am no longer hired by companies but I have a lot of experience and knowledge, so I am trying to be a freelancer.
HI David, thanks for your comment and message. You can add a wait time within the code, before the 'Next' line, in order to wait before moving to the next record. Something like Application.Wait Now + TimeValue("00:00:03") this would add 3 seconds of wait time before moving to the next line of code. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
