To fully automate the synchronization and conversion of .note files to PDF, I use the Supernote-tool script and Hazel.

I remember doing a lot with Hazel years ago. I don't know why, but, at some point, I stopped using it. Maybe I was spending too much time creating automations 😆. Anyway, it was the first thing that came to my mind when I had this idea of converting Supernote TXT file extensions to .md and syncing them with Obsidian. I guess it's time to look for my activation code and check if it still works with the newer versions of the app.

Hello, I am enjoying your videos. I thought I would let you know that you can enable an auto sync if you are using the Supernote cloud. I wonder if they will begin doing that for other cloud platforms? Also, they have a Windows and Android beta app, which creates a copy on your computer. Do you know if there is a way to sync a local folder to Evernote?

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you are liking the videos. And thank you so much for sharing the news. As for Evernote's “Folder Sync” utility, you can choose any folder on the computer, but keep in mid that despite the “sync” part of the feature name, there's no syncing going on. It just captures whatever is new in the folder and adds it to the connected notebook. It's a one-time action.

Hello Vlad. Thank you for this video. Which version of Evernote are you using? My Settings Menu misses the Sync folders option. I am using the Mac 10.88.4 version. Syncing has been very problematic for me, and maybe it is related to the missing menu item?

Hi Han, I suggest you contact support because the "Sync Folders" is not a new feature. It's been around for a while. However, despite the "sync" part of the name, it has nothing to do with notes synchronization. So, if you are having problems there, it's one more reason to reach out to the support team.
