please make a video about shipping plan for amazon usa from china to amazon usa wharehouse ddp. Because now amazon split shipment in different warehouses ,
Less than ten cents shipping per unit, and 405 units still qualify for small parcel delivery. That's amazing. This is a great video. I'm going to watch it multiple times.
Do you have a tutorial on shipping more then one product listing (multiple ASIN's / SKU's) in the same shipping box/case/carton? If so, may you please provide the link?
Hello Travis, great video as always. Can you also make a video for folks doing Amazon FBA in the US while living outside the US? I live outside the US, but I do have an LLC there. The problem we typically face is that we have to blindly trust the supplier with regards to dimensions, number of units packed, weight, etc., as we can't physically inspect the products/packaging ourselves. It would be great if you could make a video about this. much appreciated!
I use a 3rd party shipper from China. The last order I sent in, I didn't get shipping updates uploaded into Amazon, I had to ask my shipper for updates so my estimated date of arrival was wrong and Amazon gave me a warning on that because it arrived before the date I had put in. Do you recommend using an Amazon suggested shipper? Is it cheaper, and does it just streamline everything. I don't wanna run into the issue again. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
hi travis! thanks for this video! if I choose the shipping origin as california (shipping from china), wont the shipping label have a california address as well? that won't be an issue if it's being shipped out from china?
Hi Travis! When using your FBA hack why can't you just put your ship from address as the manufacturer's address in China? Do you just use a random California address, or is is the home of someone you know?
The ship-from address will determine the warehouse where your products will be sent to. It should be an address that you have access to and not just any random one.
I'm the sole manufacturer of my dietary supplement. I read that now Amazon does not require the FNSKU if one is part of Brand Registry and is the sole seller of one's own product. Therefore, I can choose "use manufacturer's barcode" and skip the FNSKU when I ship, right?
Una pregunta, si voy a vender en diferentes países de Europa, Amazon te permite hacer un listing para cada uno de esos países o solo puedes hacer 1 y será el mismo para todos esos países?
Hey Cynthia! It's one listing per marketplace. By the way, I have a channel for Amazon Spanish videos. You can check it out here www.youtube.com/@PassionProductenEspanol
Hey Travis, I have one part of my product that contains a lithium battery, however, the manufacturer put the ⚠️ warning sticker in their language. Can I establish my own and just translate the text or is it okay to leave it alone? Thanks
Thanks for the question! You can check out this link to know more about that sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/G201809280?locale=en-US
Hi Travis. I am making the design of my products labels, do i need to put the GTIN no to them or i have to wait when i will list the products to amazon and generate the SKU label and then to put to my designed labels?
So could i ship in a box with several hundred of my products and they will store it? Will they box each thing separately when it is ordered by a customer?
Each product should be packaged and labeled accordingly. If you are planning of shipping them together then you should also label the shipment box properly. Check out this link to know more about it sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/200141500?language=en_US
Hi Travis, you have 300+ lbs and amazon just charged you 26.62. do you know why amazon charge me $30 for just 15lbs...(placement fee + shipping fee)?? I tried both 1 shipment option($21 placement fee + just $9 shipping fee) and 4 shipment option (0 placement fee + higher shipping fee).
How in the world is your shipping cost $55 and the weight is 336lb. Mine is 264lb and they are charging me $207. Mind you, i selected the 1 shipment. What i'm i doing wrong? . Also, Do they keep changing the website because they have an option of 5 shipments at no placement cost so the question is, can you hand over one pallet that has multiple FBA location addresses?i.e because i chose the 5 shipment option, 4/6 boxes have very different FBA addresses. The other 2 have a different one. Can i put them all in one pallet for LTL pickup?
Hi Travis - I love your videos, they are so helpful. I've watched almost all of them! I have a product being manufactured in China that will be ready to ship in about 8 weeks. I went to print out FNSKU labels for my products and received the following notification: "Reminder: Please cover any existing standard barcodes (UPC, ISBN, EAN) with the new FBA item labels. If you selected manufacturer barcode for an item and the barcode is scannable on each unit, there is no need to print and apply additional item barcode labels". I have UPCs on my product packaging. Does this mean I do not need the FNSKU? What is the advantage of having one anyway? Will it allow me to track my products within the Amazon ecosystem? Would you recommend that I label my products with FNSKUs despite already having a UPC? Any guidance you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Am getting a warning in dimensions (Box volume does not meet the expected minimum cubic inch of 4,574.43). And whereas my dimensions by the supplier is (48×40×28cm). If you calculate by Inches 19*15.8*11...! Can you tell me what mistake am doing?
Did you try measuring again? You should double check as there might be something off in the measurements. Otherwise, you can open a case with seller support about it
Thanks for the helpful info! After watching, I can't decide if I should have my manufacturer ship my product directly to Amazon (which is what I had planned) or have them ship it to me, I live in CA, then have Amazon pick it up. Any thoughts on what would be less expensive? Thanks!
Great video, Travis. I watched it multiple times. One question - you said you got the FNSKU printed and affixed by the manufacturer (at 10:58). Does it mean your manufacturer has access to your Amazon Seller Account, and access the listing to print the FNSKU?
I did online arbitrage and I got sent with few of the items having different “used by” date. I couldn’t create 1 shipment to put everything in 1 box because Amazon only allows 1 expiration date in a box. It can be multiple SKUs with same expiration but not same SKUs with different expiration. I contacted Amazon last night and I was told, I have to ship them on separate box which means I have to create 2 different shipment since they have different expiration dates even if they are same SKUs. That’s a bummer considering I only have 2 of the same items that has different used by dates compared to the rest of the same items I have on hand. I am a beginner and I honestly didn’t know this.
Hi Travis. Please I need your help. it's my first time on how to add products on amazon and I already order the product too but I'm stuck. please help me.
Fantastic video! Thank you. 2 questions... 1) I created my product but it's inactive (I switched it to FBA and am preparing the shipment). Meanwhile, it's showing as "out of stock. Is this public to other people? Does Amazon still take that into account and ding you? Technically it's not even selling yet, but I hear so many warnings about never showing as out of stock. 2) If I'm only sending my first ever shipment, and not sure how quickly I'll need to replenish, is it still a good idea to have a second shipment ready to go right after sending the first to Amazon? Thank you again, Travis! Your vids are some of the most useful FBA vids I've come across on YT.
Thanks for watching! Your listing is still inactive as your shipment has not arrived at the warehouse yet. As long as it arrives within your set shipping plan, it should be all good. For your second shipment, it depends but I would recommend giving some waiting time so you can determine how much you should do for your second shipment.
Are you supposed to add the listing onto Amazon before shipping the product from the suppliers to the Amazon warehouse? If so then what do you do with regards to the pictures/video for the listing which you must take when you have the product with you? May seem like a silly question but just want to make sure so as to not make any silly mistakes.
Hey Hamed! Yes, you need to create a listing before you can ship the product as you will have to create a shipping plan. For the pictures, you can make use of rendered images which is what I recommend.
Hi Travis, I want to move units from a manufacturer straight to the Amazon warehouse, can that be done and will I have to provide any extra info to the manufacturer?
Amazing video Travis, i have different types of hair accessories that I want to ship. Do I need to pack each type of accessory in a different box or can I put everything in 1 box with their fnsku tags on as they are pretty small in size
Thank you so much, i have another question. I bought some items from dollarama and wanted to list them! I do not have a brand name or manufacture name or contact information. Should i put dollarama as brand or manufacturer?
Can i use any box? Lowes home depot? Etc does it have to be blank box or ok to have logo . This is for sending stuff to fba center. Handles on boxes ok?
Yes, you can just make sure to cover logos and barcodes. You can check out this link to know more about that www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-packaging-requirements/#inbound
Travis I love your channel tahnk you, just getting started with FBA. Do you suggest sneding everything to a 3PL and then have the 3PL ship to Amazon, or start by doing everythign in my house and then when I grow out of it get a 3PL? I am thinking of paying a small premium and starting straight away with a 3PL to avoid mistakes, save my time, and economies of scale, and amazon fba prep expertise. What do you think? Can you make a video on this strategy/supply chain flow? Thanks!
Personally, I would recommend having it ship to you first so you can see your inventory firsthand before sending it to the warehouse. Also, you don't have to send all of your inventory to the warehouse and send it in batches instead so you can save on storage fees.
Love your video travis, thanks. I am thinking of getting custom packaging. Can I throw the product in a bubble padded mailers, then throw those bubble mailers in a box and proceed like in this video? it's not clear on if I am allowed bubble mailers, FBA says "6 sided box or bubble wrap". Thanks!
Thanks for watching the video! You can check out this link to know more about the packaging requirements sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/200141500?locale=en-US
You use the Less than Truckload option for that. Keep in mind that there are storage fees so plan your shipment to avoid paying a hefty amount for this.
Hi @Travis I am trying to ship my first products to FBA but think I made an issue for myself. I selected to use manufactures barcode because I am private label, but thought that meant I can use the GTIN labels I have on the product since the product is private branded. Is this accurate? Or did I have to use a different barcode despite selecting that option? Thank you of your help, your videos are great for new sellers.
Also one more thing! I have 29 packages, but they are not even units per package. Is it ok if I use the Case template even though my quantity is slightly (15 units) over? I am sending 1000 units but on amazon it says 1015 since my boxes are not even quantities. Thank you!
hi Travis sir i want to ask just one question. i have LLC for Amazon in USA so i want to start business with beauty products like Cerave so can you tell me please Amazon will allow me to create my own listing first time or no because i have my new account and i have distributed for cerave so they will provide me every thing invoice and authorised later every thing i want to proper way work to create my own store then can start work. thanks sir have a good day
@@TravisMarziani Thanks for the response Travis. So where does the UPC Code? Also please send me the link to your course, I would like to look into it.
This looks so complicated compared to DropShipping 😞. I didnt have to deal with this kind of logistic. Is there any kind of service that could handle all of this shipping for me?
You can have a freight forwarder help you out on this. Personally, I prefer to have the products ship to me so I can check the quality myself before sending it to the warehouse.
