This video is on how to separate your vtuber models head for Live2D cubism! A tutorial guide on creating a live2d 2d vtuber model. This tutorial for head separation is for people who want to create their own vtuber model but don't have no money to commission an artist or hire a Live2d rigger. In this video I'm going to show you all the different parts of a vtuber models head and why those parts were separated.

This is actually the most helpful tutorial I've seen while I'm making my own model!! I was a bit confused on how to separate things, especially for the mouth and also because my model uses eye makeup as well, so thank you for making this :)

Thank you for making two great videos so many f these tutorials come off as condescending and don't even acknowledge cheaper options for those that don't have the financials for things like photoshop procreate etc etc

my tip for models left and right is to label it with arrows instead of R or L. so for example the left eye would be labeled eye< instead of eyeL

I have a question! Is it a possible to create a rig where its only the ears/wings/tail/etc and your REAL face and body? Instead of the entire model? But still tracts and reacts to your expressions?

When you draw your model in ProCreate; when exporting it as PSD; if you had the layers cut as you drew, does it export like that (with separated layers)? Or is all cutting only available in photoshop?
