Hey William, great Videos over all ! If been watching you videoseries and the tutorial on freeCodeCamp regarding Spacy because I want to use it for a university project. The thing is, we want to implement a speech recognition system for employes of a company. Currently they work with a web based system wich we want to imporve by speech recognition. We have a model which transcribes the spoken text but we now have to figure out how to deal with the string (get the Intent and Entitys) to trigger the right functions in the end. Long story short, a lot of NLP deals with classification of large texts. We want to deal with strings. SInce we have a rather small domain with the functions we can trigger we would like to go for a rule based approach (Ruled Entity in Spacy) In the middle of writing some testing applications I think to myself, is spacy mybe a bit overkill for these kind of tasks? I mean we deal with spesific Product names and customer names so only Rule based wont make the trick I guess but maybe there is a simpler more efficient way to deal with this scenario. Your opinion on that would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance and merry Christmas!
