Thanks for the compliment. I can usually find the clip in an assortment pack available through Amazon, at auto stores and hardware stores that have a good nut and bolt selection. I don't know the size

I always enjoy your service videos on these Abu round baitcasters that were made in Sweden. I still don’t own one yet, maybe someday. My quest is for the smallest (4600 I guess) version for pond and small lake fishing. Thanks Dennis. PS. Is the 4600 the smallest model that they ever made in the Ambassadeur series?

There was a 4000 that was smaller and there is a 1000 that is in a different format, similar to a low profile bait caster like the Shimano Bantam back in the day, that are smaller than the 4600, but the one you are likely to find the easiest would be the 4600 - Thanks for asking - Dennis

Any little resistance seems to goof up the anti reverse. I thought a little 4600 would beat me until I polished all the parts to make the thumb bar operate easily and the anti reverse release easilg

I've got an abu from 1990 and the adjustment star seems to rub the tension knob. Any advice?

es - you either have a broken/missing drag or a missing tension washer. Check the drag stack and you will likely need to replace them - Dennis

My reel doesn't spool the line evenly. The line guide stays longer to one side.

You most likely need to either clean or replace the line guide pawl. That is the common cause of your issue

I use Penn Precision reel grease and oil. The products are available on Amazon and through other online resellers as well as through Mysticparts.com - Dennis
