Hey guys..today was another windy day..but i decided to set out the crab traps..this time i set them in south Daytona. in the past i have done very well in this area but also have had my traps stolen and or run..we will see how it goes. as always thank you very much for watching and i hope you like the video.. till next time.. tight lines yall

You are always setting your traps in si to seven feet deep but how do you know where to set them? What type of bottom do you look for?

Those hermit crabs, what you call shells, are great to fish for Sheepshead

Some nice crab I wonder if blue & stone crab taste the same as the crabs we get here. The 3 we eat here spider, brown, & Velvet are all similar just a difference in sweetness.

Trojs Fishing thats a very good question man..ive never had any of the crabs in your area..but the blue and stone here taste very different..we only keep the claws on the stone crabs and then let the crab go back in the water..but we eat all the blue crab..stones are sweeter but i havent tasted a crab yet that taste like a blue crab..they are awesome

Deadliest catch Florida lol, some nice blue claws brother. Those snails you were throwing back sells for $4.99lb over here and that's with the shell lol, after they break the shell and tenderise the meat boy or boy it's tasty.

They're very good once nice and cleaned and well tenderized. I do get them when down in Florida at my brother's. Just smash the shell take out the hard boot (Thin hard plastic looking thing at opening of shell) from the meat and take the gut out and beat the crap out the meat lol. That's how the guys at the fish market did it so I followed their way and well season and batter then deep fry.
