Hey Alisha, make sure you drag the ringtone to the far left of the screen while editing your ringtone. If there is a blank space at the beginning, ringtone will not sound properly. Also, there is a volume slider on the left hand side of the screen when you’re editing your ringtone. Just swipe to the right from left side of the screen to reveal volume levels. Make sure it is set to high. Please re-do this and update me. 🤔

@@LightsCameraAaron this is because when u save it from camera roll, its not a GarageBand supported file type like mp3 wav and a few others, this is why the second app is necessary

thank you for the amazing video, my cousin and i used this method to make matching ringtones. we made a ringtone out of a clip from the popular cartoon network show regular show. the bit we used was “pick up the phone skips we know you’re home skips” we had the vision for a sweet ringtone and you made it possible!!! thanks for posting this ❤️
I swear they make it so much more work every single time! probably because they want you to actually buy the ringtones. But the one I want isn't available for purchase so I'm gonna go through all these steps to get back my satellite phone ringtone from Jurassic Park III that I've had for years lol. This was awesome! One thing that I had to do first though because when I tried to screen record the song from Apple Music, there wasn’t sound. I had to find the song on RU-vid and screen record from there. Everything else worked the same and was great! Thank you!

Friend, you have to record and convert the song, then add it to GarageBand and then choose to make a song. Apple music will not work. I hope you can figure out from where to record the song 😄

In the mp3 converter when the blue bar gets to the end it just stops and then goes off without asking me to save it in a file and when I don’t think it’s working It’s worked now

hey, this almost worked for me but it didn’t. please help. when i went to “save files” on the mp3 app it didn’t work. a white screen popped up and then it didn’t give me the option to do anything else. everything else worked until that:/ what do i do?
