How To Set Planer Boards For Walleyes 

That was interesting but yo turned your back to the camera while connecting the board to the line so I still don't know how to hook up a planer board .. On our inland lakes in Canada we can't use multi rod setups. Only great lakes.

Why do your outside boards need to be the shallowest and why don't you run 2 boards and a boat rod versus 3 planners?

Iv always done the opposite and run the furthest board out further so it passes over the inner boards If I get a release

If you run your longest outside shortest inside there’s no need to shuffle anything! Just the exact opposite of running boards for salmon!

if you put the longest lead closest to the boat wouldnt them longest leads catch everything passing it ?

What about when using a lead core setup, do you actually wrap the lead core around the clip on planer board?

Just curious as to why you would choose the single rod holders over the tree? I'm looking at adding a tree for next season. I currently have Bert's track with three single tubes on each side. I fish Lake Erie for walleye and I like to typically run at least two dipsy rods per side (especially in the summer months as I'm in the central basin and the walleye tend to hang out in 70+ of water). Want to add a tree so I can run two board rods and two dipsy rods per side. Do you prefer the single tubes over the tree? It would be cheaper just to add a fourth single tube per side, but I thought the tree's where much more effective. Also, curious as to why you shuffle the boards when you have the sam's releases on the boards. Since your lines get deeper as you get closer to the boat could you just pop the release let the board slide back and reel in without clearing the other lines? Sorry to bombard you with questions. LOL

What type of line are you using with those sams pro release?
