For the overdrive cable: Is the cable length 111mm or 114mm? Is it always 120mm for the underdrive cable? Does cable length differ depending on models (hub, shifter)?
Hi, the lenght for the overdrive cable is 114mm and 120mm for the underdrive cable. These lengths are the same for all our models regardless the mounted shifter or hub.
Cable shielding fully seated, adjusters fully in full overdrive End of cable housing: Small bit, 120 mm (12 cm) Turn full underdrive Large bit: 114mm (11.4 cm)
Followed these instructions and had no issues. I used cables from the bike shop, so the long or short cable identifiers didn't apply, but I had marked the overdrive cable with masking tape when I disassembled the cabling. I needed to replace the cables due to fraying inside the housing...pretty messed up in there. Couldn't turn the shifter more than 50% of normal...hope this isn't a reoccurring issue.
