@@vintageradar It's great, I have the Invicta Sprite 47mm (29177) and it looks very elegant. The quality of the watch also impresses me. I previously had a Diesel watch (dz1763) and I liked it, but Invicta is much better, and it is not a clothing brand haha
Why doesn't the printed manual on Invicta website SHOW correct date setting method, as you do ? Appreciate you helping us. I have the new green Invicta Pro Diver - its a really nice quality 40mm automatic watch ! My brother just got a genuine Rolex - nice piece for sure, but like $7,000 (?). This "Submariner homage" watch makes me happy its 80% of the Rolex for 1/90 the cost lol.

Many videos that talk about setting winding the Invicta pro diver automatic, don't explain how to release the crown, and don't explain about setting the date safely (6:30 am I think). Important, as of this comment it is Feb. and leapyear, so I will need to set the date in a few days. Let me ask, what is the range of time that it is safe to set the date?
On mechanical watches in general it is not indicated to have the watch hands between 9 and 3 o'clock, so on the upper half of the dial. This applies mainly to the hour hand as that is the main one for the date change. Yes, you can do that for this model. Most automatic watches will not overwind. However, there are some that do. Also, when winding vintage mechanical watches you can start to feel a counter force. That is a sign that you are closing to the maximum winding.
How come when I tried to do this my grandma fell down the stairs and literally died on impact? I had to have my friend set it for me, all his grand parents are dead already.
