How to set the time on an Atomic Clock 

I fonud this video to learn how to set my radio clolck. The funny thing is the time rightnow is also 9:50 PM. It couldn't be more perfect. Greetings from Frankfurt Germany.

I lost the instructions for my clock and searched RU-vid to see if anyone had posted anything related to setting up my clock after my battery died, fortunately I only had to wait 2 minutes for the clock to reset itself once it reached 12.00 o’clock. Thank you so much for posting this because I think I may have lost my mind trying to remember how to set it up again 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️, needless to say I have saved your video just in case I forget how to do it when the battery dies again 👍🏼✌🏽☺️🕰⏰⌛️⏳🤣👍🏼👍🏼

Returned my atomic watch to the dealer. Too much hassle.

It take about 5 mins to getting the Atomic signal and another 5 mins to setting correctly to the Atomic time.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. It has always done really great, but not this time.

Make sure time zone is set right.

Heres a way of how to do it: Step 1: Put the battery in the clock. Step 2: Go to a nearest radio tower. Step 3: Choose if you want Pacific, Mountain, Centralor Eastern Time. Step 4: Wait for the clock to move its hands to the correct Time. Step 5: Choose if you want DST (Daylight Savings Time). Enjoy the clock! ⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE SIGNALS AS THE CLOCK MAY LOSE CONTROL AND STOP WORKING.

It also changes dst by itself end of march clocks go forward and end of November clocks will go backward

That is cool. But manually setting it probably would be quicker.

Hope does the clock know the time it displays before the clock is set to the correct time?

You are not supposed to move the clock while the clock’s antenna is searching for the signal from the atomic clock’s radio signal in Boulders, Colorado that is sending it out for the clock’s built-in antenna to receive it in order for it to set itself to the correct time

I have a Sharp atomic clock. Since I bought it, like 12 yrs. ago. It still operates on the same battery. It's amazing! It just keeps going and going and going 🕛

My clock would go to 12 and stay that way for days, even after pressing the reset bottom ( small red dot). 🤷‍♀️

You de-mystified some important codes & how to’s (there is no manual, & RU-vid is more welcoming than looking up the dry instructions Having experienced the speed along hands, seconds & minutes, out! of! Con-trol!! & Now waiting on that stopped 12 o’ clock… Omg I guffawed/deep hearty belly laughed, appreciating you in the middle of that later night parking lot I like your human approach, human-ness! “We are having the time of our lives”…we just don’t know what (radio controlled clock) time that is. How does it know which time zone you're in if it's getting the radio signal from Colorado?
