A large flathead screwdriver. My small one was broken so I ordered a new one, but a large flathead should get them removed for you. If they are stuck pretty good you'll have to use the driver in an impact method. Tap lightly on the end off it with a dead blow hammer and turn at the same time.
Okay so after installing new cam valves cam gear and timeing chain tensioner it starts but has a tick and when I'm at TDC my intake rocker arm has 0 play like it's super tight is that because the arm or pin or is it fine?
It sounds like your valves aren't set to the correct clearances. Recheck those and correct them if they need it. Also, check your spark plug gap. When you put your rocker arm pins back in, they didn't bind did they?
@mikesgarage8231 as long as your rocker arms are able to rock without having to use any force, then they should be fine. If you have to put any force on them at all to make them move up and down against the top of the valve stem, then they may have bent and will be a huge pain to get out. I know from experience. It is possible to bent that stainless steel pin. If you forced them into the holes, there's a good chance you have a slight bend.
@@Doinityourself on the intake side I was useing a hammer wile holding the tip of it I assume I messed it up I'm goana buy the silent rocker arms and pins
@@Doinityourself when I did valve clearances I would adjust it to the proper spects spin the engine and it would be reset to way to tight only on my intake though so imma buy the rocker arms and imma buy the pins for like 80$ from yamaha
