Here's a step-by-step tutorial of the 0-100V battery monitor with 3.5in touchscreen. With a hall sensor instead of a shunt, less wires are needed when connecting, which is safer for home using.
Also, the monitor is compatible with most kinds of batteries, with which you can detect the data of the battery to better use it and prolong its life. It is able to save data even in case of sleep and standby time. When some parameters are abnormal, it would flash the indicator to alarm you.
Many incredible functions are here to be explored:

Can you connect multiple batteries in parallel to this and just increase the AMP setting in the monitor ? (ie 2 X 100 - so set to 200AH) ?

I would be interested in testing the capacity of a battery and a 12v or 24v inverter..

@ecoworthy I'm having trouble setting the capacity of my 200ah battery. The monitor just shows the ah in Mah and the number just increases instead of showing 200ah or my battery capacity. How can I fix this??

What does the E (Wh) value measure? On mine, it seems to reset when the state of charge changes from going in to going out and vice versa. So last night, after fully charging the battery, I removed any further charging and pressed the Battery full voltage button, then proceeded to discharge my 200Ah battery down to 10%. The E (Wh) seemed to correctly measure the Watt hour that was used during that time and climbed up to a value of about 2250Wh. Then I turned off all the loads and attached a charger. The E (Wh) value then zeroed and began recording the amount of Wh going in to the battery. I left it doing that overnight, disconnected the mains charger in the morning, but left a solar panel putting a small amount of charge in and started up a fridge - so a load, higher than was going in, the E (Wh) zeroed again and started recording how many Wh was now going out. Is this the correct behaviour? It doesn't seem to present any useful data. Shouldn't it be showing me how many Wh capacity the battery has? Is there something that needs to be done to get it to work correctly, if it is not doing so now?
