Hi Torogi, have you tried to connect the Ubiquiti AP to a TP-Link PoE switch? My switch does not show the AP IP address making it impossible to set up my Ubiquity. I was able to configure it by connecting the AP directly to my ISP router. Is there a way to configure the AP while connecting to my switch?
So I have a few of these where I live. They have been working extremely well, until the power went out and back on. Now I’ve gone from getting 500mbs to not even a full 1mb. Is there something you have to do if power goes out or if the router gets unplugged?
Looks awesome and easy to install setup. My Q is that you connect your AP to your router in order to activate it in a way and then if you want the AP to be to a specific area or room you just take it and plug it to the room u like correct ? They don’t need to be wired to the router...or this is a catch?
Hi sir, there seems to be an issue on connecting wifi dongles in AC Pro... did you encounter any problem like this and by any chance do you have a way to fix this?
So if I have an existing wireless router this will work in conjunction with that? Essentially doing what a mesh network does except this is wired? I won't have two separate networks, one for my router and one for my AP?

I have a motorolla modem , in my house am planning to replace my apple airport extreme with the Unifi access point, my question is do i need a router connected to the modem and then the unifi devices connected to the router? or can i directly connect my unifi access point to my modem.

Hi I connected ap lan directly to service provider modem lan port ,I only getting internet in one device,and other devices connected to ap says no internet connection.some help here please do I need a extra switch ?
Because not all switches have PoE capabilities, and also there are different PoE standards (different voltage and power). So you might have a compatible PoE switch or you might not.
