Thanks for the question! They can be anywhere from just above lake level to 20’ in a tree. We like to make sure things are accessible, easy to work on and what birds we are trying to attract use them. Many factors, but don’t stick to the book as wildlife is way more adaptable than most humans. Enjoy!
