Thanks for this video, Sarah. I prefer the Amazon Influencer program, because then I don't have to drive traffic to my links. I got approved 35 days ago and am averaging $4 a day so far. Not as much as I had hoped, but glad to be on the way.
@@createyourinfluence Ha, yes! And I've just got Influencer Storefronts on Amazon UK and Canada, but on those sites I can only post images and idea lists. Videos aren't an option for me at the moment. Still, it's all compounding the revenue, and I love that I don't have to drive traffic from RU-vid or social media.
So I’m a little confused. Do you apply for Amazon Influencer Program and then add review videos later, after you’re approved? Or do you need to add the videos first in order to get approved?
Finally who goes straight to the point and mentions about the difference between Amazon affiliate and influencer program. I thought as an Amazon affiliate I was entitled to having a storefront. Thanks for the clarification 🎉❤

@@createyourinfluence I would change the video name cause I was also looking for on how to set up the store front, most people who look for that already know the process to get in.
Yea…I need something that actually shows me how I create product links. How to build the lists, hell Amazon doesn’t even make it clear about how to access my own page.
Hi, Thanks for this video. I am confused why Amazon wouldn't allow me to be an influencer. I was rejected via YT and TT which has 3x the following that YT does. Anyway, maybe you have some insight?
Amazon doesn’t have a guideline to what makes someone an influencer but don’t give up applying and even try get in contact with someone from Amazon if you are an amazon associate
Using your personal account is fine otherwise it’s a lot to manage switching back and forth. Your personal information is not shared anywhere on your storefront
Ahh congratulations! That’s exciting! Stay tuned as I’ll be uploading a video on how to create idea lists and shoppable posts on your storefront page when you get to that stage!
@@createyourinfluence I was approved for Amazon Influencer for TT and I have all of my products added and submitted to amazon that were Accepted. How do i go back into Amazon and actually find my Amazon storefront. lol I cannot find it again
Thanks for the video! I have a storefront but I created a new Amazon page… was I supposed to create the storefront to my personal Amazon of create a new one?
Thank you so much for the clarification! Your videos are straight to the point. I only have one question, I cannot find the influencer tab. I have read through others comments and I looked at the top right corner and see my store number, there's only one, and nothing to click on. IDK how else to get the influencer tab 🤔
When you’re officially an Amazon Influencer (I’m assuming you are!) only then will the influencer tab pop up on the menu bar. You’ll also have two store IDs in the top right hand corner, the ONAMZ ID created by Amazon on your behalf and YOUR PERSONAL ID that you’d have if you are an associate or influencer
Hi Sarah! Thanks for the tips, it’s straight to the point and has helped me get started. I just got approved as an influencer, does that mean am an associate as well? Also, I’m not sure how to share the link so people can shop using my link, I tried but the link dies by work. I also didn’t have to set up any banking information, how does that work? Please help!
You will need to link payments in your account settings. When you’re an influencer you are also an associate therefore you can either share individual links to a specific product or link to idea lists on your storefront etc
Hey ! I hope you gonna see this comment ! I did have a question : do you know why sometimes we submit a video for a product but the video is not showed on the product page ? (Sometimes I see there is only one video from an influencor and it's really really basic, but they won't show up mine). Why ?
So i have been given lotes opintions on uploading videos on my store front and waiting to upload the 3 videos to get approved. Is there a difference in the review videos vs clickable videos on your store front?
Hello Thank you very informative video, I was able to sign up from Barbados. One question can you add products to your store front that have not been bought from your amazon account?
Yes! You can curated lists of products you’d love to recommend to your audience. Obviously you’d want to make sure you suggest good quality products you can back!
How do I get an item to show up with the RU-vid video or instagram video? I want my son’s book link to show up when he is talking about his book. Would it be this program or something different?
Thanks for the tips Sarah; I applied and got approved for the Associates program about a month back but realising what I actually want to do is setup a storefront via the Influencer program. As an event planner, I’d love to share my Amazon finds and create folders (lists?) for various setups. Will scroll through your other videos to see how to go about setting up a storefront!
Unfortunately I got immediately rejected for the influencer program. I’ve got under 1500 followers so though it’s not official, given the immediate rejection, it might be that we need at least 10k followers to subscribe to the influencer program. Can I still setup lists with the associate program?
I have 14.9 k followers on tiktok and applied and also got rejected. I’m a hairstylist and would love to link the tools and products I use for my followers. Idk what the exact requirements are but I’d love to do this as well. How do we figure this out?
Hi there! Just to weigh in on this, I created a new TikTok account, grew to 300+ followers in a few days, applied, and was accepted to the Influencer program.
That’s all based on the commission rate of the product. Amazon has a page showing you which product categories earn what kind of commission. It also varies, sometimes Amazon will increase or decrease the commission rate therefore no one will have a direct answer to this
Hey Sarah, I’ve been approved for the Influencer program but wondering, can I start earning right away or only after I submit the 3 videos for approval?
@@createyourinfluence Perfect! Thanks! I wish I could add products from other storefronts into my own but I guess that’s not possible…haven’t seen an option. Do we have to search for each product manually to add to our albums? Was hoping there would be an easier way or maybe I’m asking for too much😅
You’re welcome! I personally haven’t tried but I have seen ads on FB that link out to influencer’s storefronts for example. Alternatively having a page on your website with recommended products or a link to a blog with recommended products could be an option
Hello! Great video! If I wanted to create a influencer storefront connecting to my pet's instagram page, how do I sign up for the influencer program? I am supposed to decide between creating a new account or using my existing personal amazon account (But with this disclaimer: Your shopping history, product reviews, lists and other content you have created on Amazon will be associated with your influencer account). I don't want to pay for 2 amazon accounts, so I think I would just select my existing account, but then it automatically connects to my personal instagram page and not my pet page. So I am not sure what to do. Do I just create a brand new amazon account for my pet and just not pay for the prime membership that I already have on my existing account?
You could create another account but that’ll be a lot to juggle. That’s up to you. You can still have your pet products on your storefront that’s associated with your personal account, that shouldn’t be a problem. You can also link the storefront to your pets Instagram from there. Alternatively, the storefront can be a blend of your personal recommendations with idea lists pertaining to pet products.
As an Influencer do you still get links to individual products you can share or do you only get a link to your store on Amazon? Is it good for any sales on Amazon or only sale from your store?
OK this was super helpful. I signed up for Amazon associate because on my TikTok account people are asking me where I get the products I use and so I figured why not make some money but I did not know there was a separate influencer program, and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to create a page that had my lists. I did figure out how to get link tree on my TikTok, but I’m Gen X and so I’m struggling just a little bit, but this was really helpful.
@@mwbaumgart what are you stuck on exactly? And what is it you want to do. If you want to be an Amazon influencer or associate it’s really easy. You just apply as long as you have a form of social media that has engagement which means comments likes and follows. It doesn’t have to be a ton. You don’t need an EIN just your social and your bank account so they can send payment, I’m thinking about doing some of those types of videos here on my channel, but I’d be happy to answer any questions you have
Thank you! Glad it helped! I’d say restart your computer and log back in to see if it helped, try on a couple internet browsers like Chrome and Safari and also a quick Google search to see if videos are currently available for UK storefronts!
I have 2 IG accounts (personal and creator). when I try to apply for the influencer program, IG automatically takes my personal account, and there doesn't seem to be an option to toggle between accounts and select my creator account. Any tips?
Great video. I tried to sign up with my fb account with which has 600 followers but amazon said I don’t have a live page , idk what that means. Am I supposed to have a dedicated page? Any advice anyone? Thank you for an advance ❤️🙌🏻
I’d reassess through which social media platform you’re trying to get approved with and work on building it for a month then try again. If that then doesn’t get approved I’d message Amazon directly
So I know with the Amazon affiliate program you have to have a certain number of sales in a certain period of time in order to stay in the program. Did their influencer one the same way? I tried doing the associates one but didn’t get enough sales in the time frame so they kicked me out. I don’t want the same thing to happen with the influencer program.
Hey, thanks for the nice video. very helpful. I created a influencer program with the same account as associates program. I see now one more store id got created. Have one doubt, payment will be added from both store ids for payment or they have individual limits? Thanks in advance for your reply
Hello, yes both associates an influencer will be housed in the same website/platform. I'd use your main ID and focus on that one. if you want to use same payment for both you can but believe you'd need to do this separately
Great question, I believe this would be different and you’d be an actual Amazon seller. I’m sure there’s plenty of videos on RU-vid that can help with that!
Hi Sara! I created an associate and an influencer account but how do I connect the two? I used the same email but when I am on my associate page it doesn't have the influencer tab. Even though I was approved today with same email.
Can I share my amazon store front link with anyone? Anywhere? Like emails? I am part of their Influencer onsite paid program. So if I have a link to my Amazon storefront on my RU-vid or Facebook page what is to stop anyone clicking on them and buying thru said links? If they are public viewed pages. They say you cannot share with family, but what is to stop someone going thru your store if it is a public viewed page?
hello dear help of amazon, i am amazon wholeseler we know but we want to change amazon store privacy that no any seller are enter in my store. because they are make inventery of my product thats product which i want dont any one come in this list of product in my list. please if you know then tell me in personal.
GREAT VIDEO! quick, to the point, thank you! Quick question, I have an IG page that is growing quickly and I want to apply to the influencer program.......(I already have a 'neglected' associates account, so will I need to use that existing account to apply?).....I want to keep my new IG page separate from my personal Amazon account, but will I be able to have 2 different associate accounts? Thank you in advance 🤔
Basically associates and the influencer page are connected to a degree, Amazon has done this to keep everything in one spot I rather than having multiple accounts. You can create different store IDs though to track where the click are coming from
@@createyourinfluence Thank you! Since my last message, I was accepted straight away 😁 (I did create a new Amazon account and applied with the new email address). Only problem is, I was already logged into my 'old' Instagram account and they connected my new Amazon to my old Instagram page. Now I'm waiting for Amazon to fix it 😬 For anyone thinking of applying, just got for it cos I only have 2722 followers, it's more about engagement 🙌
Thanks for the pointers Sarah, I just started researching this as a way to sell prints online. Is it possible to start with the Amazon Associates and seamlessly shift to the Influencer program? Look forward to more in depth videos from you on the subject.
Of course, happy to help! To how I see it set up, when you’re eligible for the influencer program you will access it from the same dashboard as the associates. The difference is you will need to gather your links for your storefront from the ground up to build your your storefront page. Hope that helps!
i think this would be good info, I just can find my actual storefront since I was approved with my followers, not sure where to start. and was hoping you would cover that. I can't even find it..
In order to have a storefront, you will need to apply via the Amazon Influencers platform as associates just allows you to create shareable links to your audience. Hope that helps!
Hi! I have an established affiliate account and was approved for the Amazon Influencer program, but I do not have the "influencers" tab on my toolbar like yours shows. Any tips on how to get that so I can work on my storefront?
VERY HELPFUL. straight to the point. extra fluff. just what we need to do. i am abou to set up my store because i have been recommending products for soooo long. i want a promo fee :) i'm excited to see more of your videos as I am trying to diversify income and affilliates has proved helpful even with just one affilliate that is a startup. i was shocked at how much i have recieved (not a lot but to me it is $200) and used that to start my business. it is sink or swim for me and i want to swim. just need some lessons. thank you!
By the sounds of if you’re doing all the right things! Keep up the awesome work! Baby steps! And glad you found it useful! Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏼
Thanks Sarah! I’m based in Aus and have been approved for the “influencer program” which is US website. I’ve been hearing the associate program would be easier to use for product recommendations in your country. If you have an international product on the influencer prog you run the risk of someone using a different link therefore losing out $. Please clarify if you can thanks!
That’s an interesting insight. You wouldn’t be able to link to US products on the storefront from Australia? I believe anyone who clicks on your link will always have a cookie associated to you for the period of time even if they’re shopping on other country websites.
@@fitnexus_au How did you go with this, I am finding when I add a product to my storefront its always from US with shipping to Australia. I am looking to add products that are free delivery with prime and available for next day delivery etc.
I wish there was a specific one however they don’t really have one. I’d sign up using your most engaged social media account and keep reapplying if you get denied
Amazing video! I was looking for this! you went straight to the point and where fast about it. I like that. sadly, did not get accepted maybe because I only have 203 followers but that's alrighty.
I would like to suggest checking out my other Amazon specific videos and if they still don’t answer your questions to leave them in the comments for future video content!
i am receiving this msg can you help Oops! You don't currently have a live Facebook page attached to your account. Please update your account or apply using an alternative social media option.
@@createyourinfluence thanks, not yet, I will have to reapply later down the road, Will stick with amazon associates' program for now. Is it taboo to mention you have an affiliate link in the description, if you disclose that you are an amazon affiliate or should not state that in the video?
@@BStride I appreciate transparency (and hope others do too!) so I do both in the video and in my description. When you come from a place of integrity, it shouldn't feel taboo or weird!
Any way to get influencer storefront from anyone 🤣 literally I got 1.5 m fb engagement but they say It should be on page . And 1.4 m monthly audience on Pinterest and yeah my associate account is getting some monthly sales but not as I planned with influencer storefront that's sad . And looking for ways and suggestion.
It said I did not qualify. Annoying! Im tired of posting all my affiliate links in each video when I could just have one link to my store. Guess I need more subs.
Keep trying! Don’t give up! Keep a spreadsheet of your top affiliate links or if you’re referring to links in your YT descriptions, you can have a template made for them to pop up in the description of every video
