The newer cars come with wireless Android Auto. This video was filmed on a car that didn't have wireless Android Auto yet.

This video relates to vehicles that don't have the latest version of SYNC. That's Ford's multimedia software, currently they have introduced SYNC 4 in the newest cars (not the one in this video) which gives wireless connectivity.

no, this needed for the initial setup only. After that you simply connect your phone while the car is on and make sure that the phone is unlocked. Android Auto will automatically start and also automatically start playing your music.

Nobody is responding in any of these videos. So lame Ford. I did some research and only Sync 4 has the wireless capability with android auto. Below 4 will not work.

That is correct, only the current version of Sync gives you wireless Android Auto & Apple Car Play.

Yeah I would expected more from this kind of not cheap car of ford.I disappointed. I have to reconect my phone all the time when I go in the car again . Annoying. And also alway asking for sync as I start the car 😢😢😢😢😢
