How To Set Up Clothes 👚 Snap Button From the Kit From China

If you have bought the metal push buttons with tool set for leather goods, how to mount it? There is an instruction howto install them. Short video, clearly and concisely, brief and to the point. Is it good idea to buy this kit?
What we have:
1. Two sets of 15 buttons each - bronze and silver. 1 set of button includes 4 parts.
2. Tool set includes 4 items: batonnet male, female batonnet, base, punch.
I was confronted with the next problems:
1. Not all parts (of 4) are present in the bronze button set.
2. Buttons are made of iron and rust.
3. The punch is not sharpened enough.
4. The base is too big for this diameter (10 mm) of the buttons.
5. Thickness of cloth have to be 2-3 mm.

Excellent video. I ordered a kit from Amazon and the tools and snaps all looked very subpar, so I returned it. I'll spend more money on quality snap fasteners.

The absolutely best video on snap fastener installation. I finally see what I was doing wrong and why the snaps would not join after installing (I was not pushing the tool into the female part before hammering which resulted in me crushing the inside so the snap would not snap together)

Yup I liked the simple no yak presentation. I’ve got snaps and the snap source apparatus. It doesn’t work or it seems my kit is lacking the parts. It’s not complicated just when you watch sewers they tend to extrapolate. ( I appreciate knowledge) however this was great. Thanks Geordie.

Only use PRYM buttons, they been made for hundreds of years in Germany, you can find complete kits on Amazon.
