Do you have a video that talks about sharing apps or desktop programs among user accounts? I've created user accounts for my kids, and I want them to be able to use certain programs from their accounts instead of mine.
Thank you so much for the video. I have one question. I am one of general account (not an administrator). But whenever I sign in with my account, it kept become new. I meant, i have to reupdate my personalize account every time i sign in my account. But this situation is not happening to administrator account. So may i know the reason and how to solve this problem? Thank you
Thanks Simon this is awesome, is there a way to restrict a user from accessing services? as my 12 year old son figured out he could cancel the service that controls my parental controls Qustodio which I use to limit screen time. He first did this via control panel which I disabled access to via GP Edit but I cannot see an easy way to restrict access to Services. Kind regards Gary
Relative has me troubleshooting HP 9015E not fully installing because printer does not complete registering. Have spent 4 days on phone with HP support. Printer does print and scans only using the PC app, not with HP Smart. Tried to install the complete 9015 sw but tech said it was already installed. Could it be that HP Smart is already installed on a profile and am trying to re-install printer on wrong profile (#2, the profile the relative has asked me to use)? Obviously, I am not familiar with profiles and how programs operate between Wins profiles. OS Win 10 Additional info. Short story. Relative known to use two profiles on PC when using Win 8. Now upgraded to 10. 9015e had been fully functioning for months on Win 10 before HP and I had to recently get involved. Printer would not print or scan. 9015e has repeatedly been (re)installed by HP through remote desktop on profile (call it #2 profile, possibly wron one) while I watched. After 4 days, I can only assume 9015e is fully functioning on #1 profile and we've been working on wrong profile this whole time. Again, not my PC, unfamiliar with Win 10, profiles - and how they can affect program installations.
Hello and thank you for a brilliant video. I have been looking to do with Windows 10 what effectively you have been doing. One problem. I have recently come from using Windows 7 which is different. I am with Tiscali (Talk Talk)provider, can I use my current email as a recognised Email and Microsoft Administrator, with out causing chaos amongst my list of contacts ?
So, there is no control over the accounts ability to do things other than being a standard user?? For example, can I not control everything my children do on the comp??
Good video, thanks! But if your child has local account in Windows 10 - internal parental control does not work. Why? (on W7 all was Ok) Should I use others parental controls, eg Time Boss, Net Nanny or others?

At 10:32 this is total insanity. I just want to use my program and save my files and I have no idea what all this about or why it is in existence. It is confusing enough that they have local accounts and microsfot accounts but now we have a local account from a microsoft account. How do these programers deal with this maze of stuff. I just do not understand what the purpose is of this absolute insanity. It really does mess with my mind
I have an account that loads on start up well there is two actually and I don't know how it came to be. But I seem to have problems with several programs in regards to this other account and I do not know how to resolve it! Honestly I can't even seem to find this other account even though it is one of my emails that I am using from gmail.com! Your advise would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.
