I followed your instructions and rolled up the tramps on the water for the first time. It worked great. It was nice coming into a narrow boat ramp and not being as wide as a battleship. The other boaters (bass boats) appreciated it too. :-)
+Tommy Jensen Hi Tommy, great to hear the video helped you out! Yes we always start out by putting one pontoon out at the dock and then once we peddle out from the dock, we extend the second amma. Love this boat!
Thanks. This is really instructive especially for a person who has never put on the trampolines at all. I would like to see a video on the complete installation of the trampoline because I haven't been able to find one. Mike.
Michael Skorulski Hi Mike, I'm glad this video helped you out. Do you own a TI? I will make the install one soon, so stay tuned. I appreciate your comments.
Michael Skorulski Hi Mike, here is my video on how to install the trampolines if you haven't seen it already. Hope it helps you out. How To Install Trampolines On Hobie Tandem Island by Rockin Robin
mechanicmike69 Hi Mike, so I'm not sure where you mean the first strap should go. Inside the hinge? Is there enough room for it there? That's a new one on me. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to give that a go next time I'm out. I'll have to put a correction on the video. Thanks.
Rockin Robin Sails You do have the 'Hobie' Trampolines correct? Or maybe you have aftermarket ones? I can send you the Hobie Instructions if you like. Maybe this link will work (pdf File) : static.hobiecat.com/item_attachments/79527001_79527011z52.pdf
mechanicmike69 Hi Mike, thanks for sending the link for the pdf. I did buy the "Hobie" trampolines but I did not receive instructions like the ones in the link so thanks for passing that on.
