So, if you use chitchats as a cross boarder shipper, they bring it to the Niagra address, and what happens from there? Or the address in Niagra is used mostly for returns? Because I'm trying to figure what happens from the moment you bring the product to chitchats drop off office - will it go directly to the customer in the US, or will it stop in Niagra falls address and from there collected by US post office?

Chitchats/Stallion/all Cross border shippers bring it directly to the USPS location to mail it. Drop it off right inside there. Return addresses are on packages for returns only.

@@2DogsDigs so when I ship from Canada using ChitChats for example, I put the buyer address and that's it? I'm wondering, why ChitChats US Select givine me a price of 15.47CAD to an address to California for a book, is that's normal? I actually asked two questions in one :D hehe. And thanks a lot for your info.

When using a cross-boarder shipping service does your US customer returns go to the Niagra location or can the customer send it to your actual location in Canada?

Some cross borders ship back at a cost, some destroy packages returned to their address. You have to check with each one for their policy. You can have thing returned to your US mailbox OR Canadian address, but you will have to arrange for postage directly for those in most cases.

I'm not so sure about the whole process. So for instance if I use ChitChats, shipping from Ontario, my first address would be the USPS address at the Niagra falls right? The second label will be USPS from Niagra falls to the final destination right? I definitely did something wrong. I small box (35X-25X-15X cm), a weight on 1kg will cost me 12.53CAD to Niagra falls. And then, from Niagra falls USPS gives me only priority mail which will cost $10.40CAD + you need the priority box. For sure something is wrong my what I have done.

You never have to buy postage from 2 places. When you purchase postage from a cross border shipper that INCLUDES them taking it to Niagara Falls USA across the border. Buy your postage DIRECTLY from their website at ChitChats or at Stallion Express (our preferred cross border supplier).

It's really for folks who feel they want to list on the US platform. We've listed almost exclusively on eBay US for 20+ years as I like having prices comparable to other US sellers (vs a converted amount from Canada).

I've used Chit Chats to ship a lot of orders from Vancouver, but I've never tried using a US address. Are you saying that's a service that Stallion Express offers but not Chit Chats? Having to buy credits from Chit Chats first to pay for orders can be a bit annoying, instead of just paying shipments as you need them.

Stallion will let you purchase your postage ANYWHERE you want, from them, from USPS, from Pirateship, sent to you from Whatnot or Poshmark....then you pay a per package price of around 70 cents to drop off and have them ship. Hope that helps clarify Woof!
