The Jumper T Lite is the latest radio from Jumper. It is a gamepad style radio that includes an internal JP4in1 Multi-protocol module. Dear sir, ive been flying DJI and toy style quads for 4-5 years, I recently took the dive and bought a tinyhawk freestyle rtf, and i bought a tinyhawk S, bnf, and a t-lite about 10 days ago.. i have struggled with getting it set up , ive watched so many videos that just confused and frustrated me , then i saw your video, your expression "lets take it from the top" was spot on, you helped me grasp the whole open TX aggravation. i was even able to get the freestyle and set that one up also..... im an old guy, 50 +, a disabled vet, Im enjoying learning new stuff, your video helped me a lot today , thanks

This worked perfectly for me. Just one note that the menu locations for inputs and mix is reversed after flashing to current firmware. Other than that everything works.

Hey i wonder if it's possible to help me with an issue I've been experiencing with my jumper T lite controler. The left gimble doesn't seem to be responding when I try to accelerate or deccelerate. On the display the gimble indicator just slowly moves up and slowly moves down. Is there any way I can recalibrate or do something else to sort this issue out?

I’m very new to this hobby. After much reading, Jumper T-Lite is my first purchase. I’m convinced this radio will last me a while. Thank you for this setup video. This has help me understand this aspect of FPV. I’m still learning to fly. I’m learning with the Hubsan H107C LOS. This drone says it has 4 channels. Does this mean that I cannot add Arm or Beeps on my switches? The 4 channels are taken up by the flying controls? Also I’m also getting RF signal critical but don’t notice any flying control errors or lags. Thanks again! Subscribed.

I can't really comment abut the Hubsan H107C LOS. - I don't know anything about it, but it does look pretty cheap, and I think it comes with a controller anyway, so for that one I'd stick with the controller they send with it ?

Have you find out why failsafe toggle(to set up no pulses) isn't available at the t-lite for the frSky d8 (tinyhawk freestyle)? I had setup for the RM 161 earlier and it's there. Have no idea what I've missed.

you don't have to make them smaller, its meant if you have loads of positions so you don't have any overlaps with switch positions really...

I got my tinyhawk race 2 binded with jumper t16 but it want do anything. Only thing that works on the quad is the beeper.

Never mind. I got it fixed. In the manual the mapping is TAER1234. My jumper t16 default is AETR so once I changed the input map to TAER it works

@@Datfpv yeah. The manual for the drone isn’t the best. Does the tinyhawk race 2 seem slow to input response in angle mode? I know in acro mode it is very responsive.I fly in angle mode. Also, do I need to get into beta flight to change anything with the tinyhawk race 2 or leave it stock?

You assigned "Beep" to Input 6 which is the acro/ angle/ horz flight mode input. Beeper is Input 7 and Flip Over is on imput 8. Input 5 is of course Arm. That's how mine all defaulted anyway. Confusing for me now.

its a multi protocol radio so it does cover a lot of recievers, theres a full list of what it covers on the jumper website. It all depends whats in that quad you have and if the radio covers it, you'll have to check out the specs.

You really don't need to set up the "External RF" area of the menu since you are using the "Internal" modules for Frsky. Also something I accidentally found is that the bind button for all the Tiny Hawks can be engaged simply by depressing the battery cage under the button without a battery in place. It clicks the button one handed quite easily not requiring some small tool .

Just back from a flight with the T-lite! In my T-lite a wire disconnected from the motherboard. They forgot to put glue to it. I solderd it and it's working now.

Hi great video as always can you help I've got Diatone Roma L5 finally got Express Lrs working but one thing I've noticed got GPS resume but it not set up in Betaflight pc or speedy bee mobile so when I pick switch etc add range it doesn't light up and input my Google's on.to see what mode I'm in when try to arm it needs and says gls rescue SW so when I look into it more no matter which Aux switch I pick it always takes Aux 1 and you know need Aux 1 to arm express lrs can you help me set this up as default when fail safe is to drop also if tick land in failsafe option takes Aux 1 and I can't arm drone but if i select drop it arms and all switches work any help pleay cheers from heatwave uk

I did everything perfect like in your video. Step by step. Works perfect. Its after all settings are saved in Beta Flight, Disconnect to it, Power off drone and controller where the problem starts. When I turn on controller. The Model I named and created turns back into its original name " Model #1 " Like the Controller reset itself clean with all the work I did back to factory settings. Ive tried 3 times and same results. Controller came with SD card with Voice and lots of stuff in it :(

External is for the add on module on the bay on the rear and not the receiver, the internal is the built in board in the radio

Regarding switches. If you are not mixing inputs you can just enter the switches directly in the mixer. No need to mess with inputs.

the quad you purchased should state what receiver is in it - then you use the same one in the controller - you just match them up.

Hello Datfpv I installed an SD with the sounds files, I get the welcome sound, lost telemetry sound, and switch sound. But I do not get the arm sound, angle, and acro sound. I had just received my Jumper T-Lite in the mail and your video popped up on my You Tube selections...how timely! I had an Emax Tiny Hawk S that I had not set up containing a Fr Sky D8 receiver. So your wonderful instruction took me step by step through almost all the steps I needed to configure my quad on my new Tx and in Betaflight. All that remains is for me to choose a 3 position switch to control Angle, Horizon, and Acro modes. Thank you for your excellent, well photographed, and clearly described tutelage! As the result of your video I have subscribed! Do you think that the Jumper T-Lite would be a good candidate for either the Happymodel ES915 or ES24 modules? I haven't received mine yet and I am not sure if the included Jumper backpack for modules could be adapted to these long range rf modules, or if they could somehow be inserted internally. - Jim

Hi! many thanks for the kind words glad it helped you out - for the modules, I'm not sure, it would depend on what volts / power they need to run, I know there's issues with the crossfire module on the t-lite just dying / not working the controller can't maintain the power need to run the long range module... and thats the last thing you need.

yes but you have to buy a seperate crossfire module (nano module) for the controller, also it does have battery drain issues... so I don't think I would recommend it if you're after crossfirewith it.

i been trying to bind a lemon satellite rx to my t lite .the red led on rx start blinking but when I press the enter it still continue blinking and doesnt bind 'i think I am doing something wrong setting the rx or something that I should setup when binding a sat rx .

you just need to set 3 positions in betaflight for the same switch thats it - if that is not your issue your switches are broken ?

@@Datfpvthanks I actually did it last night after some tinkering with the controllers screen you go to mixer,, select the input after option rather than edit on the already there 3 way switch I'd set up that wasn't working then just set the 3rd position as a switch on the input after screen, that worked its all one 3 way switch on the same aux channel now. .

Hi, I cannot turn ON the Jumper T-Lite anymore. I received it 3 days ago. It was working good and I used to charge with USB, so the battery was in the correct position and the voltage good. I use it at home only for 3 days to check my drone before the first flight. Is the radio already dead ?

@@Datfpv I bought it on Aliexpress. I have to wait the agreement of the seller. It will take a long time. I have seen on Reddit that some people, having the same problem, received an email from Jumper asking them to remove the "Capacitance" but I don't know what it means ??

Remember that you can't turn it on when USB is connected.

@@jpmat2878 I guess you also did bent the battery contacts slightly inwards in case your 18650 does not have an extended plus-pole?

I copied from my x7 to t-lite . I need to change my F switch to the C switch across all models . How do I do that in radio setup not model setup . Thanks
