IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH THE BLACK REMOTE: Unplug the diffuser, press the MED button for 5 seconds while plugging the diffuser back in. You will see a blinking red light, which shows that the remote is now paired to the diffuser. Wait 10 seconds before pressing any other buttons on the remote, then you can set your preferences. Hotel Collection should really put this in their instructions.

To the ones that have the black remote I know what's wrong don't send it back mine was doing the same thing the remote wouldnt work..take the battery out put it back in ...unplug the device plug it back it hit the power button then set it u should see it working I think it has something to do with the battery try changing it If it doesn't work

I have a green light with red light blinking anytime buttons are pressed. The liquid bottle is full, plugged in, no scent comes out. How do I fix this?

I had a problem with my diffuser (not making a sound and not diffusing). Denise in the Concierge was really helpful and walked me through how to fix it. It was the prongs in the middle of the diffuser weren't making contact. Customer service is good!

All you need to do with the "proprietary" pod is drill a filling port with a plug through the top half of the bottle and walla, back to basics, refill that thing with your favorite oil from a friendlier supplier.

i pared my remote. and it is now connected. but after i turn on my diffuser the light is green and mist comes out but a minute later the light turns blue and no mist comes out???

My diffuser has the black remote and is causing so many issues. It says that e11vn will work with it so I ordered that and the dark side star wars..of course I cleaned it and the Eleven is makes a bubbling noise thats strange when trying to diffuse. Why is this company changing do many things all scents should be compatible with all machines even up to the hvac ones. Their email box is always full. I've spent so much money with them in a year that has been so unpredictable financially for most. Still no help. What's really going on?!?

I had a power outage so I had to reconnect my remote to the diffuser, So frustrating to look for the Manuel online on how to connect my remote to the diffuser. You guys need to update that asap!!!! No I do not have the remove with the colored buttons. So annoying!!! And this video shows everything but the most annoying part which is connecting the remote. 🙄

Hi Stephanie! We will definitely take your feedback into consideration when it comes to the manual. We recently updated our remotes, please follow the steps below to pair it: 1. Maker sure the plastic tab (in the battery) is taken removed. 2. Remove the Battery 3. Make sure the battery is properly installed again. 4. Unplug the diffuser. 5. Plug it back in. 6. To Pair it with the mini: While the Mini is unplugged, press and hold the (ON) button while pointing to the LED light indicator. Plug the mini to power it on, you will see the LED light will blink Red. Once the blinking stopped, the remote is paired. Please let us know if it works!

Hi this happened to me as well when this happens just unplug the diffuser plug it back in and then hit the on button multiple times until you see the light is blinking and it should work

I returned my first HC Studio diffuser because it quit working after one week. The replacement quit working after one week also. What is going on? Very annoying after spending so much money on these HC products. The oil diffusers I received have the tube in the bottles, not the diffuser itself. Plus, I have a small black remote, not the one depicted here.

Really enjoyging my Hotel Collection Studio Scent Diffuser. Just for giggles, I'd like to hear in the comments which scents have each of you tried so far. I'll go first, I've only had my diffuser since December 2023 and I've only tried CABANA and love it. My next scheduled scent is MY WAY. Hope MY WAY is just a delightful.

My go to-and monthly subscription- has been “Midnight in Paris”. Switched a month and tried “Dream On” and it’s the perfect combination. I ordered another diffuser last month with the Star Wars “The Force”. I can smell the scent out of the bottle and it’s amazing. Unfortunately, this diffuser doesn’t work. 😫

I have black remote with tower diffuser. Remote works to turn on and off but keeps going back to blue light after green light comes on. How do I get it to stay green to diffuse? Motor not running. Was I supposed to take foil off top of bottle before screwing in?

yes you take the foil off the cap of the oil! this diffuser isn’t supposed to continuously stay on, it mists for 15 seconds and then whatever you set yours to, I have mine to mist every minute. mine makes noise those, is this normal?

Very disappointment with my recent purchase. Upon receiving the product last week, I found: - The essential oil bottle being half full and having a broken seal - The gift card was missing - The lack of response from customer service Despite attempting to contact customer service via phone and email, I have yet to receive a response.

If I set the timer for 2H (two hours) will it automatically stop after two hours and then repeat the next day or do I need to turn it off / turn it on the next day?

I have the black remote and the regular sized diffuser. Black remote has battery power but does not control the devise in any way and does not come any instructions on how to pair the remote. Disappointing.

I just got two and wondered how to use the scent samples I got with this diffuser, since it’s not a “pro pod”. Idk the difference but I’ll find out but was hoping there was a way to refill whatever bottle works with this model.

@slholdman Hey it all depends on the size of the scent oil you get . I bought one but when I went to go screw it in like they do in the video it was way too small lmao . Basically you have to get the scent oil bottle that’s the same size as the plastic bottle that comes screwed into the diffuser already . Not sure what size that is exactly . If you don’t get that size you’ll have to pour your liquid into the plastic tube that came in the diffuser and do it that way . If that makes sense

Hi! The remote uses a C32 battery and it comes with the remote when you purchase the unit. Make sure you have removed the plastic, in addition, take the battery out put it back in, after this step, unplug the device plug it back it hit the power button, you should see the remote working. So I bought one. It has a black remote. The diffuser works. I see some oil being blown out BUT no matter what setting (Low medium high) You cannot smell it….. at all! I spent 158$ My 20dollar Walmart diffuser works better. Help??

Hey there! Our unit isn't programmable, so you'll need to manually turn it on and off using the remote. The good news is, you can choose the duration, and the machine will automatically turn off after the time you've selected. Hope this helps! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. 😊

A simple thing like coming on daily that any dollar store battery operated candle can do? Yet this very expensive Hotel Collection has to be manually operated? I wish I knew before spending that money.

Buyer Beware! Pros -The three scents that we tried were all great, but that’s where the positives stop. Cons - The products are priced as a luxury product, but the diffuser and scenting do not cover the square footage advertised, even on the highest settings. - If you opt into any of the subscriptions, you are going to get hit with extreme service & handling, and shipping fees, which aren’t previously disclosed. - You have no option within your profile to cancel your subscription on your own nor can you remove your credit card information. -To cancel, you must rely on emails, phone calls, or customer service tickets. Over the last several weeks I’ve emailed 4 times, submitted 3 customer service requests, and sat on hold multiple times for 30+ minutes with the company’s “Loyalty Department”, and my subscription still has not been canceled. - I am going to have to contact my credit card company and tell them to refuse all payments to this company to keep them from charging me again. Good luck if you choose to do business with this company and ever choose to stop…I hope you have a better experience.

Hi Ronette! To open the remote, please press the small black tab on the back bottom left of the remote in towards the larger black tab next to it. Press the small tab in and pull the compartment out with your finger or nail, this should slide out. Hope this helps!

Not sure how this company is still operating. I never leave bad reviews but it's shocking and some legal proceedings need to be brought forward. I've had issues right from the start, the website interface before I even paid, right through to the subscription, after care, customer service and ultimately ended up with a faulty machine
